Is it just me, who can't buy any better armour than bride dress? (I have no issues with helmets, boots and anything else though)
I have filters off.

When you are on your char page, in "stat" scroll to the bottom of the screen. There's a bar where you write your password and click "Yes, this is the one!"

I have always wanted to pit historical armies against each other (a sci fi was written about it). For example Khans empire against Alexander the Great.

It wouldn't work too realistic in M&B. Macedonian phalanx used shield and pike in one time. They had small shields (very bad against archer) but in M&B even buckler can stop every arrow shot from front. (from what I saw)
Also, it wouldn't work against infantry, because in M&B you can block infinite amount of thrusts at once just by holding down block. (what is completely ridiculous)

OK, another rather simple(I think) question. what does it mean, that a weapon take "0 slots"? And how can I use them with 4 other things?
As for now, I'm a bit disappointed with my archer character, so I though, that I might to try play as a peltast (light thrower). That 0 slots thing came to my attention, when I was looking at amount of ammo in thrown weapon. Can I take 4 bags of javelins and some knife(which take 0 slots) to that too?

I'll let you guess which armor the "morion" goes with
half-cuirass, for example. The one, that western pikemen often worn in Renaissance times.
Also, Morion was worn by Swedes. So it's not only a Conquistador's helmet.

Sure vikings against ninjas, samurais against knights and conquistador against persian is way better than roman against knight.

What is this feeling of realism you are talking about?

edit : models are nice but without LoD, so devs will not implement this.
I don't like ninjas, samurais and Vikings, but they are already in.
Also, where do you see Conquistadores and Persians?

I don't like that Hollywood sound, it's simply annoying. You're an archer, you found other archer, try to come from behind. You put out your weapon and "SHWWWWIIIIIIIIING!" your would-be prey know that you're near and can fight back before you cut him in half.

Okay sure then :

Archers get reduced arrow speed everytime they shoot due to fatigue, after twenty arrows the drawing speed is reduced by 50%.
Mail armor with padded jacks users are immune to arrows. (body, not face)
Tincans are completely immune to arrows except weakspots like under armpits/ eye slits on helmet.

You sure you wanna get into realism?
I said logic, not realism. Situation, where stronger person is actually weaker (he cant stay still with his bow) is not logical. Bow being able to pierce through plate is logical, but unrealistic, so it's not as bad as mentioned by Me situation.
Also, if you'd want to have realism on this level, then running, jumping, slashing should make you tired over time, cheap horses should have own AI and NEVER charge at a soldier. Also, horseman should fall off his horse even, if he's no dead yet. I could count further, but our matter is not about realism, but logic.

Wait, what? So a stronger person, who is more used to drawing a bow have... lower speed and accuracy than some weakling who just started to do archery? Yeah, that sounds soo logical...

If this will be added, then no one could argue about adding muskets/carbines to cRPG! If we don't care about time periods, lets wait for artillery and aircraft!

In other words, most of things in cRPG are from Medieval times/early Renaissance, and I think, that it should stay like that.
Mixing different periods just kill the feeling of realism. I'd hate to see Roman Legionary and Medieval knight fighting together/against each other.

I don't want to make a new thread for such a simple(and maybe a little bit stupid) question, so I'll just post it here. (if it's wrong, then tell me, and I'll move)
Some weapons in one handed section have "second mode". It means, that I can use them as two-handed, right? If yes, then I'll use them "well" if I have high 2h proficiency, right? I know it might be a stupid question, but I want to be 100% sure.
I'm making an archer character with 2h as secondary weapon, and I'm a little bit disappointed with mace. It's not bad weapon, but have small range, what sometimes is a bit annoying. so I though, that I might switch to "military sickle" or "fighting axe" and use it's secondary mode. (because they use 1 slot)
What do you think about it?

Hi! I just killed my character. When I log in I get blank page. So I Logged off and saw that message about updating the login. I clicked that and then next. My (real) login and password were already written in the boxes, so I just clicked next. And then.. Error saying, that my Login is invalid. (even though it IS the right one)
What am I supposed to do now?
