Today I want to share, in the spirit of Ramadan, some particularly sciency revelations I discovered while studying the good book.
I know now that there is absolutely no way that the Holy Quran was written more than 1300 years ago without exclusive VIP divine insight. From a modern point of view, people from that time and region would probably be perceived as naive, uneducated and ignorant rednecks, who understand nothing about the world or anything and are easily impressed. And yet the opposite is true for the Quran and subsequently those who are following its wisdom. The kind of insight and understanding, the love for detail, the coherence, the complete absence of any contradictions whatsoever... It's not the work of a hateful, manipulative madman and warmonger. It's not of this world. Nobody can make this stuff up. And that's what finally tipped me in the right direction. So many things suddenly start making sense now. And if all these are undeniable facts, then the rest must also be true! But don't take my word for it! See for yourselves what was revealed unto us:
18:86 Till, when he reached the setting-place of the sun, he found it setting in a muddy spring, and found a people thereabout. We said: O Dhu'l-Qarneyn! Either punish or show them kindness.
18:90 Till, when he reached the rising-place of the sun, he found it rising on a people for whom We had appointed no shelter therefrom.
21:33 And He it is Who created the night and the day, and the sun and the moon. They float, each in an orbit.
27:61 Is not He (best) Who made the earth a fixed abode, and placed rivers in the folds thereof, and placed firm hills therein, and hath set a barrier between the two seas ? Is there any God beside Allah ? Nay, but most of them know not! So, what many of us suspected is true after all. The earth is indeed flat, like intuition suggests. If it were round, you would roll downhill all the time. And the sun and moon do indeed orbit the earth (as do the five planets, give or take), which itself is fixed in place. If we were moving, we would feel a tickle in our bellies and the wind in our shaggy beards. Water and wind don't erode sediment and landscapes aren't shaped by a number of abiotic and biotic processes. Mountains don't emerge from tectonic friction. Allah placed them there, who is therefore best (1st out of 1). Most of us just know not. Go Allah!
41:12 Then He ordained them seven heavens in two Days and inspired in each heaven its mandate; and We decked the nether heaven with lamps, and rendered it inviolable. That is the measuring of the Mighty, the Knower.
67:5 And verily We have beautified the world's heaven with lamps, and We have made them missiles for the devils, and for them We have prepared the doom of flame.
81:2 And when the stars fall,
69:14 And the earth with the mountains shall be lifted up and crushed with one crash, Stars are not suns up to billions of lightyears away, they are indeed nice, decorative lamps and missiles for the devils. In the end, our sun will not expand into a "red giant" after merging all hydrogen into helium raising temperatures on earth to intolerable levels for all life, both muslim and infidel, stars and space will not continue to drift apart indefinitely, accelerated by so-called dark energy, until the nightsky turns black. Assumingly, the universe also isn't infinite and roughly homogenous, so there is not an infinite amount of life and species in it. All matter will not eventually be gathered in super massive black holes and then slowly released as hawking radiation until, in about 10^100 years, the whole universe consists only of isolated photons drifting ever further apart. The stars will in fact crash on the earth, which itself gets lifted up and smashed on the floor. Zoosh! Bang! Wisdom!
22:5 We have created you from dust, then from a drop of seed, then from a clot, then from a little lump of flesh shapely and shapeless, that We may make (it) clear for you. And We cause what We will to remain in the wombs for an appointed time, and afterward We bring you forth as infants, then (give you growth) that ye attain your full strength.There is no evolution and no branching of species, no DNA, no random mutations and genetic variation, no selection and consequential adaptation to changing conditions, no ongoing process that started over 4.5 billion years ago. We were made from dust, a drop of seed, a clot, then a lump. I don't think I can memorize all those. Dust, seed, clot, lump. Dust, seed, clot, lump. Wisdom obtained!! Why does everything have to be so awfully complicated though? Also note how accurately and detailed the human ontogenises is depicted in a time long before modern medicine: Whomb, then infant, then grow stronk. A miracle?
24:45 Allah hath created every animal of water. Of them is (a kind) that goeth upon its belly and (a kind) that goeth upon two legs and (a kind) that goeth upon four. Allah createth what He will. Lo! Allah is Able to do all things. Unbelievers may say "What about insects and spiders? Walketh they not on 6 or 8 legs respectively?". Arthropodes have in fact 4 legs, the remaining extremities are really arms. Lo! Allah is clever, slippery!
16:68 And thy Lord inspired the bee, saying: Choose thou habitations in the hills and in the trees and in that which they thatch;
16:69 Then eat of all fruits, and follow the ways of thy Lord, made smooth (for thee). There cometh forth from their bellies a drink divers of hues, wherein is healing for mankind. Lo! herein is indeed a portent for people who reflect. A practical example of how civilization's modern day problems can be fixed by looking for answers in the Holy Quran: Bees don't feed on pollen and nectar. They do indeed feed on fruits... very much like wasps. There is no problem with lack of bees in agricultural monocultures today. The problem is that bees never helped pollinating blossoms in the first place. They like fruits.
86:5 So let man consider from what he is created.
86:6 He is created from a gushing fluid
86:7 That issued from between the loins and ribs.Allah is fully aware that we grow from fertilized egg cells (aka zygote) and that sperm is produced in testicles, but when it comes to sexual matters he is fixated on very young boys whose testicles haven't yet moved out of the body, hence the loins and ribs.
6:142 And of the cattle (He produceth) some for burdens, some for food. Eat of that which Allah hath bestowed upon you, and follow not the footsteps of the devil, for lo! he is an open foe to you. Against popular belief, animals are not our distant relatives. Allah made them for our convenience, for food or for carrying our burdens. If you don't eat them, you are following the devil. 10 years a vegetarian... 10 years of darkness. Can Allah forgive me? I didn't know I was being... develish. But should we now eat our cats and dogs or train them to carry our luggage? Which one is their purpose? And can we anasthetize them before we slit their throats? Maybe just a little? Lo! Allah is boss, knower! Wisdom +100
51:49 And all things We have created by pairs, that haply ye may reflect. Granted, micro organisms often don't have 2 genders and reproduce without gushing fluid. Allah is aware of this, he just didn't expect us to make microscopes and snoop around in things that don't concern us. That doesn't mean Allah didn't know what micro organisms are. He has supernatural bionic eyesight. And... I mean, duh! He made them. He just keeps us on a need-to-know basis. Besides, some theologists argue that micro organisms are not "things" at all, but in fact "stuff". Allah is also aware that he put millions of different species on the world disc and that for most of them there must have been room on the "Ark". He doesn't see a problem with that. If you do, it's your problem. You are then the rightful owner of the flame.

. You see, I don't seek fame. I tend to the most lost and needy, whose natural habitat is niche video game forums. I'm impressed with your vast knowledge about ecology. Does that mean you accept that there are other life forms and that they interact with each other and their abiotic environment? Isn't that highly speculative? Does your cult approve of that? It's a start I guess. Don't tell me you also understand... uhm... "believe in" climate change.
