Long ago in a land called the shire there was a group of midgets who thought they owned the place. So a fellowship of bros and a ho named

Green

Blue

Indigo

Violet (the ho)

Decided you know what to hell with those midgets this land is ours so they stormed the Shire in their fantastic colors and just stomped on midget after midget. And later after their victory when age was getting the best of them they created an order of protectors for the Shire.
