So, people all take 2 riding then insta dismount?

You could but if you wanted to play inf why wouldn't you just go regular battle? You'd also be wasting those two skill points in riding just to troll a game mode. I guess if that's your bag.

The poll speaks for itself: would you play a cav only battle game mode? In order to play you would have to spawn with a mount. Discuss!

c-rpg misses you guys, come dominate in the pub servers with me!  on that note, I'll be on tomorrow and thursday evenings for a good amount of time.

Huseby! I myself will be back on the killing fields within the week. I'm just waiting to get back into my apartment.

NH_Erlkonig is my main character. I have one key.

I'm a student living in a college residence. I have no idea if there are other cRPG players in the building, but I assume they'd come up under the same IP.

Doing this in the interest of avoiding an unwarranted ban. :B.

I've had a lot of fun the past couple of days that we have all gotten to play together. Good times and good XP.

I better hurry the hell up with my last exam then! My only concern is lugging this darn tower across the province for the winter break...

Post your favorite side arms if you play an archer! I personally never go into battle without my trusty nordic short sword.

In response to the poll:

I don't think those weapons tend to fit the theme. After some consideration I believe the German Poleaxe is rather neutral and could be a viable viking weapon. Adding it would compliment our play style as well!

P.S. I voted No but I changed my mind to Some.

i agree with awesome; gothic style axe seems to fit the theme. I would stay away from english bills and swiss poleaxe tho. On a related but [needs citation] note, this is what wikipedia has to say on the subject:

Atgeir and Viking halberd
A polearm known as the atgeir is mentioned in several Norse sagas and other literature. Atgeir is usually translated as "halberd", akin to a glaive. Gunnar Hámundarson is described in Njáls saga as cutting and impaling foes on his atgeir.

Several weapons (including the kesja and the höggspjót) appearing in the sagas have been designated as halberds or bills.

edit: although usually translated as "halberd" the atgeir is more akin to the english bill

Beginner's Help and Guides / Re: throwing weapon wpf?
« on: October 08, 2011, 06:05:34 pm »
javs need 3 PT, and if speculation is to be believed (most likely not) you need between 12-14 wpf per level, not counting the first level of PT which is approx. 60 (?), so I'd say between 84-88 WPF

TL;DR 'bout 84

(talking through my hat, so please get some verification before investing the points)

Really interested in joining this clan; my only concerns are that as a university student I will have some weeks (like the one coming up) where I won't be able to play as much because of midterms/term papers. Are there provisions for this sort of thing? I'm a level 30 thrower currently, but wouldn't mind rolling pole or archer upon retire.

How do you go about keeping your build balanced? Is it better just to retire?
