Normally ppl do this in the general thread, but I want to attempt to be more creative about this with gifs. And since this has been my favorite thread, it only felt fitting that it should be the site of my departure. Sorry, no looms or nothing. I give those all to my clan bank and armoury.

It has been a good run.

I started as a shielder, protecting myself from anything and everything

Especially archers

Then I made a 2h alt with no shield and had to learn to dodge

Until the next patch at least

Then I got some armor and was saddened at my loss of spam speed

I graduated college with a degree in engineering one year ago, but for that first year, I remained unemployed, stuck at my parents' place. This did give me one nice thing though.

But now I have a job and a lot less free time, and sadly, my interest in spending that little free time on cRPG has dwindled. (That's cRPG in the eye patch.)

Desert Ruins and Grey Havens updated and sent to Fips.

This is my last update I'm afraid. After 5 years of playing this mod (sole reason I bought M&B:W) I have reached the point where I feel that I must move on. Actually, that was a  year ago and these crazy drunken elves kidnapped me!  :lol:  Fare thee well!

Oh .... fubar!  Okay, adjust spawn on desert map, ..... and I think I heard bots getting stuck on barrels at spawn in Grey Havens. I'll look at that too.

I really like the look of most of your maps, but could you please tell me what texture pack you're using? ;o

Thank you. Uhm... texture pack.... hmmm.... you know, I don't remember!  :lol: It's probably Realistic Colors though I can't help but think it's a different one. You can find the compatible mods here: http://forum.melee.org/beginner's-help-and-guides/mods-compatible-with-crpg-(updated-sticky)/

I like the changes, Thranduil. Good work!

But I have a suggestion for the "LOTR-cave-map" (sorry, I don't remember the name): in order to fix bots getting stuck in the middle of the fall down the hole, on the wall, maybe change the wall to something straight (with no relief), so, if bots fall down, they fall all the way down?

There's also another place where they get stuck: underneath the furthest right edge of the wide bridge on the left. Maybe the same idea of a single straight vertical wall would fix that, and also removing that rocky elevation above that spot, so there would be nothing but straight wall (our side), bridge, straight wall (other side).

If this could really work, it would be great, because the map is fun otherwise.

I'll see about getting to work on that as soon as I can. Just started a part time retail job yesterday so hours are a bit shaky.... and it will probably stay that way until I can find a job where I can use my brain a bit (Engineering degree doth not a job guarantee) with more steady hours.

Not really entering cause, well, it didn't turn out quite how I wanted. I just felt like showing it since I've gone and spent a little over 4 hours working on it (the sketch took maybe half an hour, dunno). Stand alone is okay-ish, but on a banner, I'm not that good at making it look good. And of course, cRPG is down and I never got my own banner in Native cause I rarely played it so.... Anyways.

I don't know if it's been mentioned, but it's worth mentioning again. I don't like how you have to capture flags in a certain order (or it appears that way at least). Attackers are not smart enough to understand that a flag with a bulls eye on it can be captured and those without a bulls eye cannot be captured. We probably could have taken Helms Deep just now, but no one listens when you tell them to attack Tower. We just stand on and defend a flag that we can't cap for about 2 minutes wondering wtf is wrong.  :rolleyes:

BTW, 3rd round of Helms Deep when I joined and had 60 ppl on.  :wink:
