It was off-putting since I tried playing Melee and PM at the same time (never having touched PM before) and switching between all of those games. I was glad to donate to #1 though. I have no interest in getting good at those games, it's more fun being bad and making excuses.
Lol omg this makes me so happy. I've been calling Goggles a fraud and you would expose him for months. It is a shame that I couldn't make it, there might only be one more tournament this summer I can go to in upstate before I leave for college. What are your thoughts on PM? I was under the impression lots of Brawl players thought it was the shit.
Anyways, we got destroyed by TopDoge in that 3v3 lol. We had some team chemistry issues, but overall having 3 shielders isn't going to cut it, especially if we're gonna rock heavy gear. I'm switching to a more strength orientated build, with a bit heavier armor and I'm gonna start using my poleaxe primarily to give us some more reach on our roster. I'll still have shield and 1h proficiency to be as flexible as possible. I think our main issue was the separation, which is a common problem with strength turtles, we were too slow and had too little reach to protect eachother effectively. TopDoge was really able to outmaneuver us.

This thread gave me cancer autism I'm gay an enlightened view of the delusion of the admins of this community.
Let's take a step back.
We're all playing a videogame. Why do people play videogames? In short, it isn't to try their hardest and mentally exhaust themselves. It's a time to relax and have some fun and unwind from a long day or whatever you nerds do.
It's blatant bullshit to call someone out on 'not trying' in a videogame. It's a game dude, that logic is fundamentally flawed.
If people actually think that in order to properly play a game you have to be actively trying you should reflect on your life, you're clearly taking a game, yes a GAME, way too seriously and have some priorities to sort out.
If I had to turn off my music, bust out the headset and microphone, hop in TS and coordinate with my clan/team every round talking strictly about the game, I wouldn't ever want to play this game again. Fortunately, nobody even does this. And using admin logic, I wouldn't be appealing to this new 'try as hard as you can, or be ban' because theoretically, I wouldn't have been playing 100% optimally. Where do you admins draw the line?
