I don't think it does in the actual game (equipment screen), but that's beside the point.

Does that mean I have to pay a $5,000 fee for every item I sell, or does that item have to cost over $5,000 gold?

I wouldn't worry too much about 0 ironflesh since you have a shield. 5 power strike/athletics/power draw is a must.

@jeff2307 - I'd do the respec and invest in throwing or an xbow if you want ranged capabilities.

Lvl 30 STF hybrid build
Can use most polearms, shields, and any crossbows. Decent on horse or foot.
I can be infantry support with pole and/or xbow, or harass on horse with light xbow and/or spear/lance.

Str/Agi: 15/18

Flesh: 5 (although +2 to shields might be better)
Strike: 5
Shield: 4
Athletics: 6
Riding: 6
HArchery: 3
WMaster: 6

Polearm: 133
Crossbow: 100

1. Please post a more informative thread title than just "Help Please"

2. The most likely explanation is that you accidently sold your item for half its worth instead of repairing it. Did your gold increase by ~15k?

3. Sure you can play without it. If you're having trouble paying for repairs you should probably be use cheaper armor anyways.

4. If you really want another one... what a coincidence! I have a Milanese Plate on the market right now! No need to bother the admin to fix your mistake and get your armor back that way.

Mixed feelings. I think that the new layout introduces some good options, but is not intuitively easy to navigate.

I like the option to sort your items by price, that was much desired in the old version.
However, I would prefer the old format of being able to see your items (and their stats clearly) on the same page as your current equipped gear. There's plenty of space to do it, so I don't see the need for a separate page.

As for the market it's nice to be able to sell 10 items at once now instead of 5. Does it mean we have to pay an additional $5000 though for the 11th item just to list the item on the market? Heirlooms should also be searchable by rank obviously...

Guides / Misc questions as a HA hybrid

Running a 15/18 non-dedicated (and non-loomed) horse archer 1H build.

1. Currently riding a cheap steppe horse. Although the maneuver is good, I want to be able to outrun enemy heavy cavalry instead of just trying to dodge them all the time.  Since I can't ride an Arabian horse my options are:
Desert Horse - +3 Speed, -1 Maneuver
Courser + 10 Speed, -6 Maneuver
Destrier - Survivability (maybe more useful with a 1H weapon, but still viable for HA?)

Even though maneuver seems to be more valuable for Horse Archers, I see a lot more HAs riding coursers than Desert Horses. Any suggestions?

2. Palfrey - Why does this horse even exist? The rouncey is better in every way except a -1 speed

3. How useful is a couched jousting lance with just 1 wpf?

Which Polearms work w/Shields? I can guess all "spears" can, but I want to be sure.

I remember seeing someone using awlpike and shield before, but I guess it doesn't work anymore.

A shield will help help survival issues. Polearm + Shield + 10 Athletics so you can just backpedal/thrust to be annoying.

General Discussion / Is the Marketplace down?

Couldn't find a related thread. I saw a new marketplace format, but "no offers" for anything. My character is a Main. Is the market under renovation?

EDIT: Got it, thanks! I have to set search criteria to the right to find anything, but it's a LOT easier now!

General Discussion / Two quick questions (STF and respec)

1. Can you respec a Skip the fun character? I tried and it said "this action is not currently available".
I don't know if its permanent, or if I just have to wait for 7 days after creation?

2. If I respec a Normal character, I understand that I lose half my xp. But would it aslo affect my level?
I'm thinking of respec-ing (before I retire) at 31, but don't want to lose the levels of course.
