Lies and slander. I am not eu and I did not kill anyone. I saw a spider on him so I tried to whack it off as gently as possible. Unfortunately, LL_vegemite also saw the spider and got over-zealous.
Palatro however was using some kind of nudge exploit, and he kept using it to launch his long-maul buddy flying behind players or after fleeing archers. I assume that since he is able to send people flying about five to six feet because at some point he must have been bitten from a radioactive spider that possibly originated from near the Fukushima Plant, which we all know became damaged because of the events ensuing the March 11th Tsunami that caused such devastating damage to the island nation of Japan.
Myself being an islander whos' mother is allergic to spider bites, I saw the spider upon Palatro and my protective instincts emerged. Arys also tried to remove the spider, I don't know why I face such ping-sercution.

", some man at arms probably would've chopped through your wooden stick, hacked you down, and moved onto the next opponent. Don't pretend you don't play to win and that it's all for goofs and giggles, were it the case y'all wouldn't be griping about weapon preference and people having an edge over you.Lets be honest you use it because it alows you to spam. There is no style,and no cool look in that.Yeah, I'm pretty sure you're developmentally challenged in some way. I'm not sure I should even respond, but here goes: Robin Hood with Morgan Freeman was the start of it, as well as Antonio Banderas in the 13th warrior, hell even the ill fated swordsman in Indiana Jones, every time I saw one, I wanted one. Talwars, shamshirs, omg yatagahns? Sign me up boss, I like my weapons like my women, curvy. And am I seeing you complain about Arabian warhorses? Hell, I use them because I think Arabian horses are beautiful and that the models are nicer than the other horses. I even did my own retexture since I like it so much. You might be noticing at this point I dig exotic stuff.
I had scimitar and elite scimitar few months ago and it was most unwanted weapon ever. PPl were hating that weapon so bad,ppl hate it now even more but for some reason it have nice price same as mioadao,arabian warhorse,courser and other similar items that ppl were hating.
Now all of sudden those items have high price.
I personally can't block steel pick and mioadao and scimitar. I don't have time to react.
If you want to use gay weapons like glaive,steel pick,scimitar then use it,but i will always think you are my old friends.
The problem ultimately is the "My fun is more important than your fun." mentality. When you see someone using a weapon you don't like, instead of seizing upon that bitter unhappy knot that swells up inside and stoking it like a budding fire, let it go. Use your head, think. Remember your footwork, don't get too excited and eager for the kill, watch for the feint, then kill him dead.
Because if you just sit there and let your unfounded petty unhappiness rule your inner thoughts, you will never find happiness playing this game because there is always going to be someone with a different, perhaps better weapon or playstyle. I know I'm getting off the topic of the thread, but yeeeeeeeah. When I see childish, ugly minded shit I feel compelled to respond if no one else is. Grow and adapt, people. Stop trying to nerf the game to the point no one can enjoy their class.
Finally, don't confuse anger with contempt.

You are a perfect example of what is wrong with this community. You see someone using something, and they're immediately a low skill "prick". You people invest so much emotion into your playstyle and into winning, you lose any notion of logic or common sense, and it's easier to demonize and dehumanize your opponent instead of understanding why he would play differently, or that you're losing to someone with more skill.
Now, myself I preferred an italian falcon, but I did pick up these other weapons from time to time. If I saw a tincan, I picked up or carried a pick as a secondary weapon for dealing with tincans. In regards to the elite scimitar, I love the classic look of it, aesthetically I like the curve and exoticness of a scimitar. I used to imagine my ingame persona as a varangian who picked up a trophy in the east.
It's an amazingly childish behavior. I can easily imagine you stomping your foot and running around your house screaming and wailing like a demented 10 year old who just got sniped. You fit the image perfectly.
People need to invest less emotion in this. Especially when it make you sound like a plexing aspie kid. Take horses for example. If I run someone down and trample them, that's how it went in battle. Now, I know my playstyle pisses some people off to high hell and back, but that's kind of how it went. They were the tanks of olden times. Myself, I consider myself a bump specialist, I would rather bump and knock someone down than to try and lance them. Why? Because with a ping of 155, it can get a lil difficult to actually land hits or manually block. Also, because I know I'm helping usually a clan mate out. I don't typically get a decent score, often negative KD, but it makes feel good being somewhat useful.
Either way, long story short, grow the fuck up you fucking children. You're killing this game.

Nerfing/doing anything to bumping is retarded. I wholly encourage anyone who thinks bumping shouldn't hurt, needs to be nerfed, etc, to come visit me in coconut pineappleland. Lay down on the ground and let me ride one of my horses over you, then tell me getting run over by a 1200 lbs animal doesn't hurt.
Mount & Blade. I wouldn't go to BF3 and complain about tanks or vehicles being OP against foot. It's kind of like playing EVE and bitching about people having a bigger, badder ship.

The morning gloom finally began to part, the dawning sun banishing the creeping mist to shadows cast by jutting, craggy ridges. The sound of horns and drums interrupted the normally serene silence of the hinterland morning. Men could be seen on either side of a long, flat expanse of grass and rock, struggling against the morning chill to assume some semblance of formation under colors and banner.
"It's fucking cold. Why the fuck are we up so early?"
The grumbling complaint was issued some distance from the masses of infantry, where two men sat upon steed, lances lazily rested across saddle pommel as they surveyed the slow procession of men from sleeping quarters to battle lines.
"Because the King wanted to catch them with their breeches down."
The simple response was given, though the blue-clad italian himself would've preferred a few more hours of sleep and a sun higher in the sky than the biting chill the two faced this morning.
"Fat fucking good it did, what with them thinking to do the same. Fucking civilized cunts, always trying to outsmart the other. It fucking stinks. To hell with this smelly countryside." the other mounted man at arms replied in his usual uncouth manner.
The two, despite being battle brothers, were at times opposites. The italian's mount a fleet, white courser of fine bloodlines, a noble steed bred for speed and stamina. The other man sat astride a behemoth of horse flesh, a thickly boned beast of belgian bloodlines, though little of the actual steed could be seen under the thickly scaled layer of cataphract armor the uncouth barbarian seemed to prefer.
Even in uniform, the two differed. The italian preferred his simple helmet, open save for nasal guard to allow for greater visibility at the gallop, easier to lance one's target he always argued. A blue tunic over simple chain mail was his standard adornment, the crest of kingdom Veluca ever present as well as a smaller patch displaying his family crest, the House Orsini.
The other man was encased in so much iron and steel, it was a miracle he could so much as turn in the saddle to face his comrade, heavy plate over chain over leather over padded cloth. He was too pretty to risk injury, was the sarcastic excuse the northern man often offered. For a helm, he wore an archaic Scandinavian helm with nasal and eye protection, an homage to his ancestors.
"It smells just fine. You drank too much, retched on yourself, and fell asleep with the hounds." Orsini countered, a wry grin offered to his companion.
The iron-clad man scowled for a moment before snorting deeply, conjuring a mass of mucous and spit to hock out onto the field, then replying, "Well. That would explain the fucking fleas." He grinned, picking lord knows what from the messy tuft of hair growing off his chin.
Just then, trumpets and horn blasted, interrupting the horsemen's banter. With a loud cry, men on either side of the field surged forward, eager to shed blood for king and country. The two horsemen held their ground, though both stallions pawed impatient furrows into the grey brown soil beneath them. The steeds knew their jobs, and the air was charged with adrenaline, both human and equine.
"Look, there goes his bearded majesty. Fucking asshole."
The northern brute nodded to the vanguard, a cadre of blue clad warriors, a frantic charge of sword and spearman led by an exceptionally bearded fellow, who wore no crown but stood apart regardless.
The two men nodded to each other, touching right hand to left forearm, where under armor were three simple but important letters were tattooed. S. M. C. An old knighthood, nay, a brotherhood, nearly gone and forgotten save for these two cavalrymen.
"Die well, brother." were the final words exchanged between the two before the Italian's swift mount exploded into a burst of speed, leaving torn grass and turf behind. The italian knight took his steed fast and around the main battle, using his lance to pick off stragglers and enemy crossbowmen as they attempted to harass and impede the oncoming wave of blue-clad warriors.
As he shook off the still groaning body of an impaled enemy from his lance, the knight Orsini took a moment to check upon his battle brother, whom often took a more straightforward route.
True enough, the iron clad brute had smashed his equally brutish mount directly into the main formation of the enemy charge, disrupting their lines for the benefit of the still oncoming friendly forces. The gigantic Belgian steed, clad in cataphract armor, crushed and knocked aside enemy footmen, barely even slowing in stride as it powered through men, a mad cackle could barely be heard above the crying and shrieking of crushed men.
The Italian knight shook his head as he watched his companion hold his lance brazenly in both hands, high above his head as if to taunt the enemy underfoot, and though he knew his companion was well beyond reach of reasoning or even hearing his words, he muttered them nonetheless.
"At least use your fucking weapon, fool."

I have seen people retire right before strat sieges, then just hide in a bush because they're naked. I'm pretty sure that wouldn't fly on regular battle/siege.

Do it. I would say good riddance to the people who leave, it'd be neat to see who the new 'top players' would be. Would the present supposed elites climb back to the top without their loom crutch? I'd like to see how the over 31 level crowd would interact with people when they don't have a stat/point advantage.

When I poke someone with it hop lite style, it's not to kill them, it's usually for the lulz. If I do kill them, I just about die from laughing.

Hey Korgoth, why not use the mount and blade repository? Or mediafire, it's been my go to file host for a good while.
Anyways, have you ever messed around with normal maps? I redid the normal maps for the Nordic helms because the native texture to me almost rubbery. I've been using them for so long I forget what the originals look like, but I'll put up some comparison pics and a link at some point.
Anyways, every now and then I'll notice armies in game, and the thing th at bugs me the most is usually the normal map. Quite a few armory don't seem to have proper normal maps adjust have some glossy shader assigned to them. I keep thinking just a revamp of the norms would help the game out a lot.
Especially when you look at some of these new armors, the Byzantine themed ones? Good norms, to the point though where it makes you realize how outdated some textures are.
