these ladders make Strategus completely uninteresting to me. 2 battles to waste my time. Edit some rules realistic, for attackers as defenders.
I don't speak about ladders and siege tower totally bugged. These problems are more difficult to resolve. But for the ladders, i think we need some rules.
I saw many nerfs for nothing, but ladders are again allowed. To stop cav, or reasons discussed in pics.
A ladder, it is just for climb the walls. Please.

i was 24-15, dmg has been nerfed, but still effective. But when you have to throw 2 jarids for kills, now we need 3 :/

Use your brain as a shielder. Best advice of this thread ;)
And if you want to have a max K/D as a melee player, take 2H or pole.
You can have good K/D with 1H shield, but generally, you are useless for your team, cos' you are not in the place where your team needs you.
Your place is in frontline, tanking the pikes and the 2H spammer. During this time, your team (2H and pole) can kill people.
I like your tips harun !

I like to use and abuse of Macros, every morning. It is bannable ?
In french, macro is pronounced almost like maquereau which means 'The Pimp'.

i think old players quit, and new players drop.
New players cos there is a deep between a char lvl 35 with 5 or 6 looms and a newbie. Even being brave, old players who spend all day in this game have so many tips and knowledges, added to high level and looms, new players drop quickly.
When i start this game, many players help me to be better. Ts invitation, EU3 invitation, etc.
Today, with a long streak without crpg (i don't have much leisure time, i use it without crpg), i have read when we have a newbie IG. "Not in my clan, we recruit only good players", "i don't help U, you are stupid french (really ?)", "go to read the forum".
Players kill their own game. Not dev. too much high levels players, too much looms. Any interest to continue to play, except the pleasure to fight with a sword. Erase the database, erase the looms, erase the highs levels !
With a long streak, i don't see any difference between crpg 4.3 and crpg 7.9. Ranged are ranged, 2H are 2H, Pike are Pike, Cavs are always cav and split the team make you lose, as always.

I don't Know how to fix my problem. I'm technically a noob, I deleted my char with all my heirlooms in armoury because it was a stf and i want to help a Noob with a new char in eu 5.

+3 lordly open Sallet
+3 masterpiece Heavy Kite Shield
+3 deadly Steeel Pick
+3 masterwork Arbalest
+3 Masterwork Danish GreatSword, they all disappeared.
I have access to 6 heirlooms i have borrowed in armoury on my two alts, but i don't know if i will lost them if i return them in armoury

« on: March 23, 2013, 03:26:00 pm »I still remember ages ago... I just started seriously playing crpg. I remember the map was Native - City (the khergit/steppe one with a tower in the middle). Some Pecores guy had a military pick, (elite cav?) shield, crossbow, and steel bolts. He held off waves off attackers alone, beat good players 1v1 in melee, and made excellent shots with his crossbow. I wanted that build as soon as I saw it. He could do everything, Ranged, offensive melee, defensive melee, he was a jack of all trades. I wanted to be that guy.
I actually haven't tried building for that until now. I'm going for 18/24 shielder/1H at 32. After that I plan to get WM and level my crossbow skill. With that build you can fight in almost any strat battle, and you can change your equipment radically to different styles as you level.
Thanks Pecores, you inspired me to be a good 1h/shield/xbow hybrid.
That was me ! I'm a hero for someone ! It's the best day of my life !
