I am 15/21 now but I guess you could say I am not pure cavalry since I have 7athletics, if you want a pure, 0 athletics build I reccomend this one

    * Strength: 18
    * Agility: 21
    * Hit points: 65

    * Skills to attributes: 8

    * Ironflesh: 6
    * Power Strike: 6
    * Shield: 4
    * Riding: 7

Then you can either put all your WPF into polearms (you will get around 110) or you can split it between 1handers and polearms and get near enough 80 WPF in both.

Also if you are going pure cavalry I really think you should get a large warhorse, if you want to stay mounted for as long as possible an armoured horse is kinda needed and that is in my opinion the best one.

i am fair and just, no rule-breaker shall escape my hidden blade. make me an admin and you will not regret it whoever is deciding. as a professional human being i have experienced much, and have administrated several servers in various games throughout my internet career, such as in SA:MP, Garry's Mod, CS:S, and some other games that i'm forgetting. i am chill and my skin is as thick as black armor (i don't care when somebody insults me). i try not to sway decisions based on bias, and i don't really care about anyone here enough to let them break the rules. i know i have an idiotic name, truthful avatar, and a cool signature, but i am not mentally deficient. if people see me as a troll, everybody changes, just take a look at how POOPHAMMER acted before he was made an admin and now after he has had it for awhile. make me an admin.

EDIT: Optimus Prime is expressing his desire to stay muted by downvoting everyone i guess.

In my opinion it's the large warhorse. It has alright speed, good maneuver, great armour and alot of health. Also to top it all off it is very cheap for an armoured horse.

I think that WPF is almost completely useless even for melee, I changed my build abit (4shield 1WM) and have 87 WPF in polearms and 1handers, I really cannot notice any difference between my swing speed with a bec/steel pick and someone who has 150WPF points swing speed.

Once again your ignoring my original post. Crossbowers can eaisily hide behind trees, I've done it many times. Even with 0 WPF in crossbows, I can still shotgun easily. If I'm rich I might as well carry one around all the time. Yes, good archers can shoot down incoming melee and behind trees, but most archers aren't good archers are they?  Yes, longbows can 3 shot horses, but crossbows can 1 or 2 shot them, especially the weaker ones. And have you ever seen a armored horse taken down by arrows? No, because it doesn't ever happen. Throwing is less accurate, less range, and can reload while moving. Even the damage is the same as the longbow. By your logic, it's completely balanced, it fits your definition of "balanced" perfectly. And I don't stick to ranged combat, that's why I switched to crossbow, so I could do both. So I'll say this again, because you appear to not be reading the OP. What do you have against making the accuracy of a crossbow narrow down slowly and stick, as opposed to just narrow down and stick?

As heavy cavalry I find that crossbowmen are an easy kill, I let them shoot my horse once and then they are either dead or they won't be able to reload for the rest of the round because of me harassing them.
Longbowmen however are a completely different story, yeah it is easy to couch a tunnel visioned archer but as soon as a half decent archer gets his sights on me I run away because longbow arrows kill my horse and me faster than anything else.
Since I started going heavy cav I don't think I have been killed by a crossbow more than 10-15 times, whereas the vast majority of my deaths are from longbows.

There has been xp and gold in the duel server for a while, I tested it out with a friend a couple weeks back and we both got ticks that updated on the website. (on NA_CRPG_3)

I don't think this is a problem with cut damage as much as it is a problem with high tier armour especially when it is heirloomed, as a 15/21 cavalry player even my Masterwork Heavy Lance (30 pierce) takes 3-5 hits to kill someone in plate armour when I am going at a decent speed.

The mark of good cavalry is a 1:1 teamkills to kills ratio.

Equipping all the troops in your fiefs with say scythes would cost next to nothing and would inflinct decent casualties to the enemy.

I try to never couch someone directly infront of me as I find that instead of couching them I horsebump them instead, I just couch to the side of me and turn into them.
