Bouli is decent, but I'd say he's good enough. Needs to work on his block though, many of my double feints got past his block.

How loyal are mercenaries? During a strategus battle can I buy you guys away from the other side if they've hired you?  How much would it cost to have a gang of mercenaries lay siege to..oooooh lets say Halmar.

I don't know exactly, but contact Oberyn or Olwen if you're serious.

I reckon highest bidder gets our support. We usually apply for both sides during Strategus battles for a rather costly amount (being money-grubbing mercs that we are). First one to hire us gets us.

how are you going to prevent first time players from selecting a banner they think is "cool" and ultimately being punished for it.

German great sword all the way, fell in love with it the first time I started again after the Era of Resets, 7-8 months ago.

But for a substitute, meaning low cost and similar attributes I'd go longsword. Thrust is really powerful for its size and it deals surprisingly high cutting damage. Range is of course gimping, can't go berserk with a longsword due to many weapons outranging it and shielders turtling up as they bulldoze into me.

Noone wins more rounds for his incompetent teammates than me and you never invited me to join your bunch of huge ego and small penis people.



Also, Olwen refused Dave the shiny tincan. And he never asked Danish_General. And Banok. And Phyrex. But he started a vote to kick Phyrex when he had owned him the third round in a row, although its clearly against the rules to want to kick someone because you dont like his playstyle/ he is the better player. 


Olwen, maybe buy a brain yourself instead of suggesting it to me. =)

First of all, Phyrex is a lone-on-purpose, clanless bundle of sticks wannabe ;3. Even if I convinced Olwen to recruit him Phyrex would say no. But he is incredibly skilled.

Secondly, Danish is pretty young (14), but he's skilled I'll give him that. Dunno whether Olwen even considered him.

Thirdly, Dave and Banok are both mediocre fighters, and Dave usually relied on his 11 athletics. But those days are past and he's bound lvl 30 like the rest of us people who have lives.

Lastly, Olwen calls the shots so there's no need to question his policy if you don't intend to start a flame war with him.

I think it should be implemented, right now.

Banners would still be free, but if new banners were added you could restrict certain banners for clan members. It adds more uniqueness to clans and encourages more clans to be formed, and that's always something positive.

Also, since the database already uses the .dat file (profile file) for name reference etc., you could have similar referencing for the banners. I would assume something like this is doable.

Nope, we use the suggested names. Druzhina was a historical group that roughly fits the crpg timeline. If Templars would donate models, I'd allow names like Templar Surcoat or so as well. However there won't be a 22nd armor or Fallen plate armor. Mercenary leather armor would be fine, Merc leather armor not. That's my opinion, don't know how the other balancers see it.

Didn't know that about Druzhina.

BTW about that Merc part, I'll try to encourage Noc to whoop something up ;).

Japp, bönnajävlarna betalar för dig varför herrarna går omkring med plåt och skinande rustning.
Du får exp från strategus striderna som går direkt till din crpg gubbe och det roliga med det är att efter en vanlig strategus strid så kammar du hem 300,000-700,000 exp beroende om du förlorar eller inte 

Spelar ingen roll om man förlorar, du får exp per ticket. Så om ditt lag dödat 5000 tickets får ni motsvarig exp.

Förresten, Strategus är på "hold" och dessutom har inte chadz gjort så att man kan föra över Strategus guld till cRPG karaktären än, så man får ingen guld på Strategus oavsett om man har ett slott (som jag :3) eller grind:ar hardcore på cRPG.

A side note:

When is the duel server operational again? It was on for one day and then stopped working again. Bug testing?

Anyway, back on topic. Rules should be enforced somewhat, but it's up to the people dueling to act decent and not be a douchebag just because they can. I personally try to be as nice as possible to new players. As in, I don't face hug and spam them to death the moment timer hits "1..." as I've seen a lot of people do.

BTW regarding xp/upkeep, will that be removed from duel servers?
