Funny thing, I just watched AC3 preview video you posted and the first thing that I observed was that this game is now about wizard-assassin  :rolleyes:

Jumping from branch to branch covered with snow is a 99.99999...% chance of ending at the hospital for any human whatever his skill might be, same with trying to escalate a cliff with snow on it...  :lol:

Maybe he has huge spiked cleats?!

Hahaha yeah its retribution. Wrote this in a hurry.

The game is pretty much COD MOD. Pretty simple point and shoot with huge customizations. I like all FPS, from CSS to BF2.
I guess the game isn't for everyone. The "wallhack" thing is barely any different than having motion sensor radars like in Halo- you should only turn it on for 1 second to see where everyone is. Then it takes about 3-4 seconds to recharge it up. Also, you can't shoot while using the wallhack.  Makes the game pretty fun imo. Takes some practice to know when to rush, when to deceive, when to camp etc.

e: What Saul was saying about bunnyhopping and (accidentally added by a bug) skiing in Tribes is very true. I almost never fall for the tricks where a 2h will miss you with an overhead and drag it to your feet, or a stab that they miss you but manage to drag onto you. It just seems so obvious now. But these tricks are useful against newer players. If I get hit by it, it's obviously my own fault.
In ANY game, the player who understands the game mechanics more will often be better.

It seems most people in this thread just want "realistic" swinging and blocking. As in simple attack and blocking situations and no trickery or deception. IMO one of the most intense things in this game is fighting multiple opponents at once and killing them all without taking a single scratch. This requires some "trickery" however.

Could promote more backpeddling of polearms so as to use the weapon.

Would be a cool idea. It's like siege but the flag is moving all around the map so that focused fighting is varied through various parts of a map.

Though, defenders with only one life would kind of be too easy? And perhaps archers would have the advantage, as defenders are forced to stay next to the caravan and archers would rain arrows on you.
