You can use your big squads but there shoud still be possibility to use flag with smaller ones too without loosing men to such things as carrying a poleflag.

Make the flag:

lowish price
polearm-two handed
1 slot unsheathable
lowish speed
overhead swing low blunt
thrust low pierce or low blunt

If the flag is dropped it stands straight up. The flag carrier still has 3 slots to use. Shield, sword, flag, badda bing badda boom.

Yeah, just no xp or gold should be earned. Maybe very reduced gain, if any.

Okay, from what I'm gathering my issue is not specific to myself and is a universal problem (misery loves company!).

My first map is about 50% done anyways, thanks for the responses.

why don't you use the cRPG scene editor ?
maybe you did something wrong with this module (quickscene chooser ?)

Do you mean making the maps within the crpg module? I followed the instructions for making maps stickied on this board (originally from tale-worlds forums). I figured I would be able to transfer the maps from my native copy to crpg later and that it was not a good idea to mess with the crpg module directly.

I don't think I did anything wrong with the quick scene chooser; I've been editing in multiplayer.

The crashing is annoying, but saving often has worked. Sometimes I try to close editing mode (to save) and it crashes, which is the worst.

If you guys have suggestions I'd greatly appreciate them.

Scene Editing / scene editor keeps crashing
« on: June 19, 2011, 10:50:37 pm »
Hi, I just started scene editing. Often when I click on an object in the objects placed menu (the in game editor), the game crashes. Its basically to the point where I am unable to run the game for more than a a minute or two before it crashes.

Can somebody help me out please?

edit: Yeah, now i can't click anything in the objects menu without it crashing, ugh.

About the name changes, i support it, but only if all items are given historical names. I want all fantasy names or all historical, not mixed.

yeah lol

I'm a SCAdian myself and we fight with wooden weapons, still a lot of fun. The press gets so thick sometimes you can have conversations with the guy you're fighting because neither of you can move.

Thanks, Ecko and friends. I don't really give a shit what the site looks like, but I'm sure it will eventually be improved anyways.

I'd really like to see this. Basically, a C-rpg facebook. You could sort your searches by ranking, level, clan, etc.

^Might as well go to lvl 31 with no converted skill points, 6 IF and 2 shield (just in case).

The Scottish armor (not from wfas) is quite intricate and of high quality; I support its inclusion.

Oh, I fully support dedicated throwers; I think its funny, cool, and possibly useful in certain situations, or often useful if you are a pro. However, I don't believe that weapon function should be distorted to fit some arbitrary conception of a "class".

I wish that I could take some javelins or axes for my melee builds once in a while, but I'm unwilling to invest in powerthrow. if the difficulty was str based, I would occasionally find it cost-effective to use them. Whether their gold cost is fair right now, I cannot say, but I'd imagine they would be pretty cheap relatively.
