So you were the best player ever? Cause even the best players miss blocks sometimes, and fall for feints.

Yup, best player ever, remember it.

Dont shields on the back already reduce incoming damage from behind, based on their armor?

Yup, shield's body armor + 10 is added to your current body armor as long as it hits the shield's hitbox.

Only works on projectiles though, not melee attacks.

What is all that muscle-memory shit, do you guys fucking flail your arms around to block?

I would barely move my hand or wrist to attack or block, the game was just so fucking incredibly slow-paced that I could easily see attacks coming and have the time to think about what I was going to do next between attacks, that's how fucking slow paced that shit was.

to be honest i skipped all the pages

im sorry to see you go bro but do not give away your looms

just keep them for whenever you feel like pwning some noobs and showing them how you dd it back in the day.

as much as i would love looms i would rather have the chance to fight legit players now and then and it would have a sour taste to

score looms this way

but i would assume you already gave them away Q_Q so if i ever see you in the servers just ask me ill spawn you a loom bro peace out

i hope you have fun where ever you go and i hope you try out crpg again man

Pwn noob, except he's never been really good at the game uhaehuaehuae.

And nothing of value was lost, why the fuck do people feel the need to tell the world they're stopping playing?

Use of the N word in any context is not allowed around me.  I was feeling generous so I muted you instead of giving you a short vacation.

Lol, white guilt.

Suggestions Corner / Re: Give archers some of their melee power back!
« on: December 03, 2011, 12:28:36 am »
Go to hell Gravoth the shield slows you down too much to keep up with the archers.

I had a plated archer with 70 wpf a longsword a hornbow and some arrows, never ran out of arrows and I could melee good. But now its out of cash and I rspec'd it as a 1h archer with 2 stacks of arrows to play in siege.

Edit: A shield is good to block arrows, sure, but the weight means you'll never reach the fucker pew pewing you. The archer should be mostly screwed if engaged in melee and cav should rape them to hell and back.

You can still catch archers with a shield, HURR DURR I'M BOB I RUN A FUCKING 30/9 BUILD IN FULL PLATE, SHIELDS ARE TOO HEAVY CAN'T CATCH ARCHERS.

Suggestions Corner / Re: Fix average players uninvolved state - Strategus

So mercenaries would actually have to show up to the battle's location on the strategus map to participate instead of just magically appearing everywhere?

That'd be fun, unless I'm reading this suggestion wrong.

Yeah bro, that shit aint realistic, I LARP with foam pikes all the fuckin' time and I've actually killed a couple of people on accident.

Atleast cRPG got the pike wiggling right, a foam pike to the side will decapitate the fuck out of you and should rightly kill you, I've also successfully curved my pikes around friends and walls to decapitate spectators in the background.

Game Balance Discussion / Re: [BUFF] Champion Arabian Warhorse
« on: December 01, 2011, 03:29:54 am »
I don't see any HA investing 7-8 riding though. Arabian isnt even that good you could easily save a few skill points for a better horse.

Courser is just as good, no one can catch you and you can kite all day. I see more HA use coursers.

From what I remember I went 8 riding 8 WM 5 PD and 4 HA and was using the Arabian warhorse to great extent.

Most horses can already turn on a dime, the arabian warhorse even more so, I've kept plated people knocked down for a good 30 seconds by just knocking them down then turning on a dime to do it again all while shooting at them and killing them.

I think if anything the arabian warhorse should maybe get a bit of HP or body armor, I do admit it's extremely squishy, mine would die in like 2 arrows, but it never was a problem for me.

Using the maneuvering to dodge arrows wasn't all that hard as long as I knew where the archers were, I usually waited a bit for the ranged to acquire a target and tunnel vision on them and I could have my horse last entire rounds without much trouble.

I'm almost certain most HA don't have 7 riding. I may be wrong though.

Average HA build is probably something around 15/24, so that would be 8 riding.

I know when I played HA I'd mostly play 15/24 for the 4 Horse Archery points.

Perhaps the devs will be kind enough to change your loomed yellow tunic for a loomed heraldic one? I mean: having tweaked the items would justify this.

Givin' them too much credits.
