So gur, after my post above yours, I should just go 21/15 and not risk 0 wm?
Either build is good but don't think of 0 WM as a risk. The difference is not going to be very big in swing speed. Having 0 WM doesn't make your swing speed dramatically slower. It is like changing to a weapon that has 1 or 2 less speed.

I know that 21/15 and 18/18 are the standard builds for players of the 1h/shield class but for me personally neither the 15 agi on the first nor the 18 str on the second one really suit me well as a 1h/shielder (shorter and less damaging than 2h/polearm). Thus i was wondering if this build is viable and if its not id like to know your opinion about how its not a good build..

I really like the build. It is the same build I use as shielder except I get 5 IF and 5 shield instead of 4 IF and 6 shield. I'm not a big fan of WM. The difference is hardly noticeable when compared to having more health/shield skill.

I like the idea of giving shielders a manual blocking reward mechanic. Like maybe 35-50% damage reduction to shield on "successful" block, 50-100% damage increase to shield on "missed" block. I don't think the change would be too radical. It would give a minor reward players for blocking in the right direction with a minor penalty for not blocking correctly. Of course the numbers could be tweaked as well.

Personally, I think 1h are fun (even though I'm not as good with them  :() and shielders are very useful in team situations. Only thing I don't like about them now is there is no manual blocking involved, which makes the class as a whole a lot less interesting to play personally.

Well on an aesthetic level, I wish its scabbard didn't clip through half the armors in the game (at least most of the ones I use :()

Statwise it is superior to a lot of the greatswords but it is pretty middle of the road in everything. Above average in length and speed and average in damage compared to other greatswords. Some people don't want a middle of the road weapon though and look to maximize a certain stat. (Nodachi or Claymore for damage, Germans for stabs, Danish for length)

It all comes down to personally preference though. The stat differences are so small, people just use what they think looks cool.

When I'm not paying attention I get accidental stabs as well. You just to have to focus on what swing direction you are going to do and make sure you do the motion before clicking and you will be fine.

Basically, just practice more. :P

Instead of only announcing my title and everything when I enter the server, it also displays the announcement purple text randomly as I'm playing. It seems to happen completely at random but sometimes it appears just as a duel starts or I respawn.

I will just be walking around and it all of sudden says "Shatter_Astralis, the great defender of the innocent virgin has entered the battlefield" or whatever it says even though I didn't enter the server or anything.

It's not a huge bug but I thought I'd let the devs know if they do not already know.

Yes, also on prolonged use of any sort.

Should getting hit by a full speed horse kill you or at least do significantly more damage than it does?

Yes. However, a real (unarmoured, and armoured even) horse won't merrily gallop around with a arbalest bolt in its flank. And running into a chambered weapon should hurt like hell. Running into a chambered spear should count as a couch against the horse (it's actually done in 1257 AD and it is epic).
It's fine that you think those changes should happen. They are more realistic. But would they make for a better game? Weapons breaking, getting stuck, instant killed by horses just makes the game more random, so I would argue that they would make the game worse. It all comes down to where the devs draw the line between gameplay and realism.
