Somewhat agree.  Last night we were playing together on a melee only server using my horse archer/crossbow hybrid.  My build has zero powerstrike, 1 wpf in all melee skills, no athletics, so basically my entire combat duties consisted of running away trying to block things with a wooden stick.  Until cav friendly maps came on.  Then I could nonchalantly couch things to death, or hell I could even ride a sumpter around and the speed bonus made my iberian mace hit pretty hard.  Still, this only works when people aren't paying attention.  Plus it only worked if the map was cav friendly, unlike that one bloody stairs map.

Proportionally speaking and shovelface joking aside, no they are not.  Look at yourself in the mirror and put one hand on the top of your head, and the other one on the bottom of your chin.  This will help you visualize an important visual landmark many artists use to draw faces, namely the middle of it.  Your eyes aren't located 2/3s up on your face, they are in the middle of it.  These new male faces enhance the jaw far too much with this proportional mistake, giving a touch of the Neanderthal to every face.  I don't know where people are getting opinions like this:

Because it is impossible to make anyone who's not Jay Leno now.  I suppose the new faces are fine if you want to make Jay Leno, but not for much else except like the comic book Superman or something.  I'll use an example of someone with a naturally long face, myself, to show pretty much what the new faces have done:

Note that despite my long face my eyes are still properly located in the mid-horizontal plane of my face.  Then we get to the new version, which if you squint your eyes you can blur out the bad photoshopping and see a badly drawn face.  If you're not an artist it might be hard to see but if you are, well you understand why these new faces offend my very soul and GODDAMMIT GIVE ME BACK MY DAMN FACE.

(Old system way doesn't work, I tried changing my character name to a name I already created and it just says it's taken.  I tried making up a name out of nowhere and after a while of pending name change... nothing happened and I lost 1000 gold.  Not that it matters much, it just doesn't work.)

As explained in the announcement section of the forums, if you can't log into your character you have to clear your cookies.  As for you unable to spawn with equipment, this latest hotfix is bugged in that you can only start with equipment you already set as your starting equipment on your inventory page.  Once you fix your log in problem, you should be good to go.

I love Screaming Trees.  Especially when there's good cavalry on like Rohypnol, it's like being on a roller coaster ride speccing him in there. ...Shame the date rape duo are never cav anymore :(
