So if the Attackers win, they get more time to win again?
And if the Defender win, the Attackers has les time to win?

Start by a logical autobalance with only switch at the start of the castle map and not every rounds.

So you can stop Strength build at 18?

Having a lot of strength is useless because there is nothing for strength above 18. And the PS/IF don't weight the cost of less agility. With agility you are faster, you get WPF with weapon mastery so your are faster, you run faster with your Athletics and you can wear heavier shield (don't get why  :shock: ).

Cavalry needs a nerf. Every time a good cav plays, he tops the scoreboard without competition. The reasons are simple:
- couching is unblockable and oneshots even plated characters, with long range, this is throwing imbalance + barmace imbalance all in one
- they're fast, so they can chose the target and the direction and if they're smart it's not easy to hear and/or see them coming in time
- should they notice you see them and they don't want to take any risks, they'll switch target
- versatility, you can use a 1h+shield on horse, a polearm, or some ranged weapon
- horse bump, so you hit even if you miss or can hit through blocks without couching

With Speed buff and a big bloody maneuver nerf, they won't be able to be high speed versatile. They would be able to charge but with a Pike they would be dead. Also they won't be able to maneuver at high speed in little spaces as they do now.

Horses don't need buff. They need balances.

They need speed, armor and PV buff but a maneuver nerf. Cavalry actually can too easily dodge pike-mens. But on the other hand, you can jump to reach them even wearing a 30kg (66lbs) armor.

I'm not a cavalry dedicated player but I like to play on a horse when the map allows me to.

all stats of the BdC is unbalanced, don't look only on damage done. U can't said that the maul is imba because he do 36blunt, knockdown and crushtrhough ... lenght and speed was important stats to.

You're right.

LHSM : 138 of reach and 94 speed
Bec : 120 of reach and 93 of speed

Thank you remebering me that the LHSM is realy better than the Bec de Corbin.

I don't know if what I made is usefull but I use the calculator to make a little comparison of the two weapons :

The character has those values:
Strenght 18 (so he can use evry close combat weapons and armors of cRPG)
Power Strike 6
WPF : 100

Now we must compare the same weapon against the same Armor of 40 (Mail with Surcoat) witch is a medium armor.
I also compare the weapon against the best armor with a price nealy equal to the weapon.

The Bec de Corbin's price is 1.5x the Long Hafted Spiked Mace price. And agains armor of the same price they do the same amount of damage. This is fair.
But the LHSM Knockdown and the Bec de Corbin don't.

Shield should have a direction of "blocking" like unshielded blocking in witch they won't take damage from weapons.
You also lower the speed of the bigger ones and the lighter and less resiliant shield would be of great interest of efectivness and fun.

But I think this is harcoded so...

Terrain and french stupidity made the english take that victory.

French cavalry charge failed because of the unploughed land which turned into mud by rain and the spikes which english archers carved to protect them from cavalry. cavalry charged through the spikes and because of the mud some spikes fell down but most remained up and pierced the horses resulting in lots of casualties. The french cavalry retreated and trampled their own members on their way back because of panicing horses resulting in an even less organised army.
Footman also managed to get to the english force but after crawling through 200-300yards of mud while being shot by barrages of arrows having the sun shine in their eyes making them disorientated and losing alot of morale they got beaten by the english force, who in comparison had alot more energy to fight.

Casualties from french are estimated at around 10.000 and english casualties  were around 100 according to some sources but most people think it would have been more like 500.



Very very very basic summary, i could also write 3pages by quoting books and sources but that takes to much time and most of you guys know how this battle went anyways because this is one of the most legendary and most spoken off battles in history.

You forget on thing, in the end French wins.
