Does the shield's speed makes you take the shield from your back faster or does it only makes that when you block, it blocks faster when you already have it in you hands? (or both?) What does the speed of the shield changes?

I trade my +1 Old heather shield for another shield, great for moving fast while looking to have a solid shield discouraging shooters from targeting you. The Old Heather shield is good to keep it on your back with only 1 in shield skill while carrying a 2handed weapon or a polearm. A few Round Shields are already on the marketplace. I'm open to lots of other +1 items than shields.
I sell the Old Heather shield for 420 000 Gold
Giving 150 000 Gold more with the shield for one of these three +1 items:
-Broad Brimmed Kettle Helmet +1
-Light Leather +1
-Rus Shoes +1
I can upgrade for a +2 Old Heather shield when I retire for a +2 item for one of these with the 150 000 Gold in bonus.

I am wondering if the Kazakh boots will be fixed sometimes... They would look awesome with my light kit, but they look bugged and very light if they are not in the shadow. A little adjustment? They would look completely great if I heirloom the kit, as they are also great for a good weight/armor quality/price link, and I am hesitating because the look is completely getting out of the kit...
