I have 20 str and 6 PS and I don't crush-through often with the barmace (feels like 20% crush chance). You need at least 8 PS for crushing with the barmace (even 7 seems like a gamble) and someone with 8+ PS will have low agility and therefore his attacks are slow and easy to avoid.

I have been asking for this since I started to play cRPG, it's stupid that you can't do it, I hate starting new chars with 0 gold when I have a shitload on my main. The best thing would be like Meow says, to have 1 account for all chars (like all MMO games out there), eventually place a limit of 5 chars/account to prevent abuses. And of course only 1 char for strategus and once you chose one you cannot change it.

It's the same thing, you have 1 free heirloom point that you can use to increase an item's modifier, just like you do when retireing.

Cav is fine as it is, it's normal to be a lot more expensive to play cav than infantry, after all cavalry are supposed to be elite troops, not everyone should have a horse. The change brought by the upkeep system is that noob cav can't own anymore because they don't afford to upkeep their heavy horses. Cav is still very strong, just look at players like DimaUrban or Oberyn, they always get crazy 10:1 k/d and they use light horses and medium armor.

Lower your gear, it's very easy to gain gold now with the new system, I think most people have at least 50k at all times.

One weekend day is way too much, a lot of people have jobs and play mostly in the weekend. 2-3 hours one weekend day or a night on a weekday would be ok though.

Ironflesh really needs a buff especially with the new level cap at 31 you only get 30 attribute points and there really is no point to put your spare skill points in IF when you could convert them and get much more usefull attribute points instead. And with the light armor people wear these days, ironflesh could be a very usefull skill if buffed.

When you retire for the first time, is your character then gen1?  or gen2?
just seems like an obvious question.

Gen2. All new characters start at gen1.

Katana is the best atm, if you have 15+ agility all you have to do is spam left-right swings and slice your enemies one after the other.
