Game Balance Discussion / So why was the lance of compensation taken out?

With only having a bastard child of the great lance, which isn't great by any measure except for it's epic fail, why don't we have the Lance of Compensation back? Especially with the slotting system and unsheathing additions and couch only additionals. Where's the dedicated weapon for the cavalry charge?
We even have a pike with a whopping 300 length in the game.
Where is it? Tell me.

Can the torch continiu burning when dropped? Would be nice to illuminate areas like that.

Might I suggest the Yumi bow to be a cavalry archer bow with 1 slot?
