Realism Discussion / Fix Heavy Armor

I think Heavy Armor, from 55+ needs to be buffed. It doesn't make any sense on how a person with 40 armor can take more hits than a heavy armor person can.

Even with IF, it does not make much of a difference.

For my next gen, I want to be a heavy cav lancer. Est. cost would be 50k to 80k (Total Cost Of Items, Not Repairs).

would that last me all the way to 31?

Post below of what you think you would be fine with. how much it should cost to repair and what the chance of repairing it should be.

This excludes WPF

I am not saying anything is wrong with the system, I just want to get your opinions. See what cRPG players think about it.

Sorry if my % is not accurate. The wiki has been down forever, and that is where I got the information from. If anyone knows the current Upkeep system, please let me know.

Hey this is Dray, I was thinking about instead of having ticks, just get paid by the second, but without your chat box being filled with spam. This is only an Concept, I'm not sure if it would be good or not as a suggestion to put in the game.

This can be great, because I see all the time in cRPG around the end, were the opposite team will wait a while and enjoy their nice x5. then after they wait a while and milk that x5, they will go kill the last man. If you put this in, it would encourage to end the round faster. Because you do not have to wait for the next tick to get rewarded.

I calculated about how much you get in a short amount of time (Without having to wait for ticks). You could end the round between a tick and still get rewarded for the time you play.

The first two ticks if you had a x1 (30 seconds) would be calculated with every .6 seconds being a reward as .833 gold and 33.33 experience.

The same for the rest of the ticks being (60 seconds). it would just be twice as long as in 1.2 seconds you would get .833 and 33.33 experience

so it would still be the same concept if you had a x2 just double the amount.

then x3, x4 ,x5.

Of course though there will still be cRPG Ticks, because we need them for repairs.

I hope this made sense, sorry if it did not. This is just and Idea, I'm not sure if they would be able to add the mechanics into the game.

Suggestions Corner / Repair Chance Reduction Suggestion

I was thinking thinking of a way that you could reduce the repair chance of something. Besides WPF, reducing the chance of repairing a certain type of weapon, I was thinking Attributes would be a good Idea of reducing things too.

For example, the more Strength you have, the less of a chance you would have to repair Armor.

For Agility It would reduce the chance of repairing shields or Horses, depending on which one has more points.

I dont know how much it would reduce the chance, but maybe like .1% for every point on an attribute?

Example:
21 STR = 2.1% reduction to the normal rate of a 4% repair chance which equals 1.9% repair chance for Armor
15 AGI = 1.5% reduction to the normal rate of a 4% repair chance which equals 2.5% repair chance for Shields or Horses

Maybe this could work for other Abilities, I just thought mainly of those two.

It could be A little to much though, because if you get a all strength build, They would go full blown out in Plate Armor.
Same thing with cav (If they went all agility) and bought a plated charger.

What is the repair chance for all things and is there anyway to decrease the chance? besides using WPF for weapons, is there anyway to reduce the chance for everything else? I would think cRPG should somehow implement that into the game with IF for reducing the chance of repairing armor. Horse Riding would decrease the chance of repairing horses.

Suggestions Corner / [Poll] Deadly Backstab (New Ability Suggestion!)

I played this mod called Mercenaries (Mod for M & B) and it had a dagger and long dagger which cRPG currently has. Even though they suck, the mercenaries mod made a plus to having a dagger or long dagger, called the Deadly Backstab. Basically if you stabbed someone in the back, it would almost or always kill them. But it is really hard to pull off unless you are pretty fast with athletics and have a high weapon mastery skill in 1h weapons.
This could help ninjas or assassins in the game a lot (Not sure if there are any)

What the deadly backstab is?
Deadly backstab is a new ability of the daggers. Base damage of this kind of weapon is very low, but when you attack your enemy from behind, daggers become a deadly weapon. In most cases, your enemy will die with one powerful backstab.

Im sorry for what I was doing. I kept on jumping off the edge of a tower and let my teammates down at the end of the round. I was the last man standing and I knew I had no chance to fight 10 people... I was just trying to be funny, but I guess one of the admins called me a leech. Im sorry and it wont happen again
Especially if im an archer.

What happens when you lose or win a battle? do you lose your items to the other player if you lost? do you win their items if you won? what do you get if you win? what do you get if you lose? do you get experience? if so how much? and also where can I find a place to convert Strategus gold into cRPG gold? What town?
Also when in the battle, does it not matter what equipment you have to equip? you don't need any skill in the battle to equip a 6 powerdraw bow? or like riding a charger? does it only go based off of your characters level and skills in the regular cRPG game?

Id like to buff cavalry that have wpf on 1h only. It would be nice, even though most cavalry have lances. But it wont be a buff if they have wpf on 1h and something else, every single wpf point has to be on 1h, and while on a horse

There would be pride in peoples mustaches! there would be leftover milk for you to enjoy later! Mustache lovers all over the world would unite! And there hairy grasps would be unstoppable.

Every once in a while, type in the game :{D after you get a kill.
Last but Not least **Have Good Standards**
By this I mean, I expect a little better of cRPG players. For example, no swearing, profanity, talk of sex, racism, and plain old just being nice!

LoM_Hit&Run - Annoying and Stealthy with the crossbow *NO MELEE*
REQUIREMENTS^At least 7 strength with a light crossbow and steel bolts with full athletics and weapon master skill.
LoM_Marksman - Archer
REQUIREMENTS^6 Power draw, and full athletics.
LoM_Peasant - Staff man
REQUIREMENTS^4 power strike, and you can only use staffs. Full athletics

Game Balance Discussion / Things that could be like WPF. (Repairs)

I'm just wondering, but you know how the higher WPF skill you have on a certain thing, the chance of repairing that field of weaponry is lowered? I was thinking it would be cool if something like Iron flesh would lower the repair chance by like .2% for armor. Then Horse riding would lower the chance of repairing a horse by like .2%. Or Shield level would reduce the chance of repairing shields. Now the percentages from my view would be okay. I don't know though if it is to high or to low of a %. And each point you would have on a thing like Horse, (Level 6 or something.) Then it would be 1.2% lower than the average rating. I do not know how the game developers could put this into the game. But it is just a suggestion.
