Im not the biggest football fan but this years transfer window has really caught my attention

What are people thinking at the moment with big names linked to various clubs.

Suarez ------> Arsenal

I think a potential move to Arsenal is on the cards, with Arsenal enacting a clause in Suarez's contract, and ive just seen news that he wants to speak to Arsenal. With Arsenal able to pay him wages of 150k a week and the privilege of playing in the Champions league make it a very easy move for Suarez. But the only reason it might not happen is that if Liverpool lose Suarez they have no one to replace him and thus will sink down lower in the Premier League rankings.

Bale ------> Real Madrid or United

I believe the former is the most probable for Bale as Tottenham will not want to sell him to a club they will encounter often, rumours have been flying about in a Spanish newspaper that he has agreed terms of £8 million pounds a year on a 6 year contract and that he has told Spurs that he wants to leave. Somewhat a bit out of the blue i believe that it wont happen this season but next season where Real have the potential of losing Ronaldo to the big spending clubs. But in my view rather unrealistic this season.

Rooney -------> Chelsea or Arsenal

I think the former will be the one Rooney chooses as a club that will probably suit him more and has a desire to join that club, Chelsea are very interested, but are these the famous Mind games Mourinhio i splaying? For the Latter Rooney has expressed if he dose,nt move to Chelsea that he would be open to join Arsenal, but id Arsenal land Suarez then i do not think Arsenal would want him. The only thing standing in the way for Rooney is Moyes, although i believe he will be a rather weak manager for Man U, he might tempt him to stay. My Final verdict is 50/50 on whether he will stay or go, hard to tell.

Fabregas -------> Manchester United

With him reaching his dreams of playing for the Barcelona side i believe he is a not going to end up in Manchester, firstly because Fabregas and Barca have both expressed that he is not for sale and the Moyes is just clutching at thin air at the moment , and also the clause that Arsenal have first pick whether Fabregas is sol form Barca, it would be stupid for the Gunners to not jump at the opportunity and especially see him sold to the Reds.

Soldado --------> Spurs

A potential move if Bale goes to Real Madrid for the £85 million Madrid say they will pay, but its looks like Spurs are sure Bale will stay and that Soldado's asking price is a little too much. A non mover for me.

Lastly i would like to see your Premier League winners predicitons:

Mine is Arsenal if they land Suarez, but if not Manchester City. Man U will flop under Moyes, and the only redeeming factor would be if Van Persie plays well.

Strategus General Discussion / Troop Limits within Cities, Castles and villages

As you can see around the map there are several places that have more than 10000 troops with in the fiefs, Examples such as Sunno (18k troops), Narra (32k troops).

To me this is just a bit ridiculous as it puts off any type of attack from anyone, even the biggest factions. A place like Narra would take close to 50 waves of attack just to beat the defence and im sure no one has the patience to organise that and also the strain on resources would be ridiculous.

This is my proposal so that we can have more of a interesting strat and make it a lot more interesting.

Cities: Max 5k troops
Castles: 3k troops
Villages: 1.5k troops

These are suggestions and must be ammended to what people would think is better.

Pros:

- Smaller factions will have a chance of capturing castles and cities and make strategus more favourable to smaller factions
- Borders would be constantly changing and thus not get stagnated like they are now.
- Wars would be a lot more interesting, in that places would not have to be sieged more than 5 times.
- Less stress on commanders of strat.
- A faster based strat would be alot more fun

Strategus General Discussion / [SUGGESTION] Reverse the XP system in strat

This is just a suggestion about how i think strat Xp should work from now on.

How does it work at the moment?

At the moment strat XP goes along the lines of the more expensive the armour value of the army the more xp is given in the battle every so often and it is nice gaining that 70k xp per tick. But what this results in at the moment is a pure grind of Tin can vs Tin can where it is whoever has the most tickets wins essentially.

What i suugest:

What i wouyld like to suggest is a reversal ont he Xp system where fighting in Peasant gear gives you the most XP and that Tin can armys wouldnt be so prvelent on the battlefield.

What this would do:

1. Would enable people fighting smaller strat fights in the region of 100 v 100 to be able to sign up more players because of the Xp involved in those peasant fights.
2. Peasant or less armoured fights would be a lot more fun thatn the usual grind on Tin cans.
3. Would make light armour useful in strat
4. Would make people think more tactically in the way they set out their gear, so that thyey would have to balance how much armour with how much Xp they desire.
5. Make battles more interesting as it would come down tonot only better tactics but make strat more skilled base.

Tell me what you think if it is a good or bad idea.

With better speed and better weight over 1 accuracy i would surely take the bow

Currently the bow as u can see is a better bow than the rus bow and cost 5000 gold less, come on devs, think next time

Game Balance Discussion / Buff Long Maul

At the moment the long maul is probably one of the worse weapons in the game, its damage is too low for how slow it is, you have to hold your swing for 1 sec to get crushthrough.

The Long maul is in actual fact the slowest weapon in the game, please it either damage buff or a speed buuf

This was made when i was a HX and i was killing most of their team as last one alive, but yh he kick polled me and went through, this is unjustified becasue for 1 i was not delaying at all, just people are little kids get bored that they have to wait.

Erezengel who thought i was delaying, obviously hasnt got his facts right, in no way it can be proven that i was delaying.

I even proved the round after that i beat 13 to 1

And heres my final score to prove i want delaying:

Game Balance Discussion / Range Spam in Eu1

Over the past few weeks i have felt that there has been a good amount of range on the servers and that everything was running smoothly (except for HX) and that being shot by a ranged player was ok because it didn't happen all the time. But over the past week it has become increasingly worse with whole teams being stacked with range and the inability for your character to move a foot without being shot.

This is not thread about nerfing Archers or Xbows as i believe they are balanced (maybe archers being UP as i survive HS all the time). It just seems silly when 50% of the server is ranged and you cant move without being shot.

Has anyone else felt this way or is it just me?
