In the Mod Mercenaries there's a rule for that, when a HA is last or a cav he has to dismount or fight with melee weapons otherwise it counts as delaying and also gets banned

Even if he's 1v1 against 2h guy with no shield and clearly winning? Idea behind the rule is good but just doens't work. Flags are good countermeasure, just if they'd work properly.

Obviously better than all others combined

Used to love FH1, me and my friend played the shit out of it. Game mechanics allowed all sorts of crazy stuff like hiding inside a carrier with knives and stabbing the unlucky enemies trying to drive it. It's a shame I haven't been able to get it to work on Windows 7. Doubt there would be a lot of players though.

I've tried FH2 a few times but it just doesn't give the same feeling of joy. At least back then the arsenal was very limited and maps few. I also dislike the bf2 game engine which is slow to start, very limited and has all kinds of irritating stuff like Punkbuster.

Great game, epic time-waster. I'm surprised how few penises etc. you find there, usually these kind of games are filled with idiot trolls. Most are not very good drawers(including me) but at least they try. I've had a lot of good laughs playing this.

Reminds me of my old GPU dying a few years back. Struggled with it quite a while, the glitches weren't usually big. Then sometimes you got these hilarious invisible textures. Got this one from RO:

in ally wars u can make seperate peace and u cant make separete peace in coalition
Still you will need to get the 10 warscore to make separate peace which can be quite a nuisance especially if you need to organize trading fleets etc.

u will pay extramoney for each colony if # colony > #colonist
True, used only if needed.

goodluck with 100+ over_extension
Not with distant overseas, I think it's related to continent where colony is.

I've played a few hundred years as Portugal, my first real attempt in EU series. Here's few points and thoughts so far:

- Alliances are hardly worth it, they just succumb you into pointless wars. Coalitions are much better choice.
- You can call back colonists after they've reached the destination, you don't need to watch the meter go all the way up. It will be slower but might be useful if you need to hog land fast before others get foothold on continents.
- Pillaging the natives if by far the easiest and fastest way to get money. Mali, Huron, Shawnee etc etc., you can beat them very easily and get thousands of gold fast.
- There's no need and no point(?) coring all your colonies. It costs a ton of admin points and will get slower and slower by the time. Core a few so you can reach farther and recruit units.
- Plan your colonial conquests according to trade nodes and flows, they cannot be changed. Steering trade on multiple points and collecting it in the end gives loads of money.

It took a few days for me to show up in my inventory after the purchase.

14:35 here, when it will be released? midnight?

According to Steam it should be available now. Just started downloading.

There's also a game called Gnomoria which is more or less also a DF copy. Not too bad, still in development. Definitely simpler than DF though.
