Title: Do more with money except buying items
Post by: Lysander on July 08, 2011, 08:29:00 am: What do you think about, if there would be an attractive option, how you could spent your money except buying items?
I have no specific idea, so feel free to join the discussion and make suggestions.
My first thought was about, modify your characters look, or your armor, so you can wear a helmet or a body armor with special emblems, or runes, or anything else.
If we could spent our money in stuff like this (or something similar), there weren't one time loomed weapons for 500k on the market.
What do you thing about my idea?

you want something to do with your gold?
next time clans are doing scrims, get together a bunch of people to watch and take bets on who is going to win, fist TK, first headshot, etc.
We did that once and it was hilariously amazing. 285,000 gold total was on the line for two random NA clans doing a practice scrim.

And no, skip the fun is not an option for guy with alts.

Automatically drawing after 100 tickets was sold.
800k prize money.
200k to chadz. Fuel for the magic carpet cost too much, if you don't know. And we need happy chadz.

Because happy chadz = coding chadz.

Also we need little medieval Vegas on the strategus map. with black-jack, ale and whores.

Bodyguards. a player can buy the service of mercenary (any) characters for an x amount of time, and by buying this transaction on the marketplace the balance on the battleserver is ignored for the merc, and he will always spawn on the targets team.

furthermore the merc gets full repaircost every round, which would avoid having 4 tanks guard a leveling peasant,
or the repaircost goes to the targets account, but he also decides what the merc wears.

this would have the welcome side effect of giving the game a new dynamic and sub-objectives. yay. stop the strategus developement at onec and get to this!!!

edit: nice option would be that the merc dies when the target dies. or 3xrepair cost when target dies. hwatever.

You can do that already (same hardly used banner, + he notes repaircost and sells you a strawhat).
