Hey guys,
Whats a good build for a Huscarl?
I was thinking, 21 strength, 15 agility.
Focusing on PS (7), PT (7), Athletics (4), Shield (4). Should I invest the rest in WM/IF? Or go all IF?
Thanks. It's for my alt.

Weapon master. I find IF useless tbh. And throwing doesn't require any WPF so sink it all into your main weapon. I'd also reccomend using only war darts until heavy axes. You get 7 of em and they pierce! :D

Mine looks like this:
Level 29 ( 3728060 exp)
Strength 17
Agility 18
Skill Points 1 (saving it for levelup)
Converted: 2
One Handed 125
Two Handed 1
Polearm 1
Archery 1
Crossbow 1
Throwing 109
Ironflesh 0
Power Strike 5
Shield 5
Athletics 6
Riding 0
Horse Archery 0
Power Draw 0
Power Throw 5
Weapon master 6
It will be a nice 18/18 at level 30, with all the needed skills at 6.

Interesting. Thanks, Ishar.
It's more interesting for me to note that a couple of people say IF isn't all that worth it. Good to know!

I think 21/15 ist quite good. Nothing can substitute strength.
Without any doubt I would skill WM, PS, Athletics max.
Shield 4 is minimum for shielder (huscarl needs 4, but more skill is better)
PT7 good, but if you dont throw often perhaps less
IF, different opinions, often saved my life

Well it only gives you a handful of HP. If you get hit with a weapon that does 40 damage to your light armor, it doesn't matter if you have 60 HP or 68: you still go down in two hits.
It is worth it if you use heavy armor: if an arrow hits you, and you only get something like 3 damage from that, it matters a lot if you can shrug off a couple more arrows.

Yep, but
if you have 21 str and 0 IF you have 56 hp. With 7 IF you have 70 hp.
I had a char with 7 IF and often survived with only a few hps. Now I have no IF... if I die I don't know whether I would have survived with IF ;-)

well, on my first char i didnt put any points in IF, because i tought it was useless! Then we got a char wipe, and i decided to put some points in If anyways....guess what i did survive alot more. Not quite sure if i ahd got more experience or if it was beacause of the IF!
After that i always put If in my builds!
