Hello,
I am tired of retire so i not gonna do it anymore..
I thinking bout makin an Hybrid in the end would look like this:
24 agi
18 str
8 WM
6 PS
6 Riding
7 shield
5 athl.
130 1h
144 pole
I like this build because it would be pretty variabel in his roles ...
but i guess once maybe strat (  ) is out ,many will head for Lv.35 and dedicated builds could have a HUGE advantage over Hybrids like this.
because im not sure i would like too hear some comments....
DO U THINK ITS GOOD 2 TOO GO??

I like your build.
But have fun leveling to 35. It will take a loooong time.
I see that you want to be a shielder as well, not just a lancer cav, so you can turtle around as a footman too.
That's why I like inf/cav hybrids. They are a lot of fun.

1h cav and Hoplites are pretty nice too :)

Yeah, forgot to mention that you can even go "SPARTAAA" when you feel like it with this build.
:)

Do you really need 7 shield? I'd sacrifice some shield for athletics on your 18/24 build unless you really really like that small shield bonus. You're having to make adjustments and can't even max the skills which your agility allows. As a rule of thumb, you always want to AT LEAST max athletics & riding that your agility provides. You want to max WM on this build since you're going to be a full double weapon hybrid lancer. You have to cut something somewhere, and that is why 18/24 is just not that good because you can't actually reap the benefits of your 24 agility.
On that note, i'd go one of these 2 builds which don't sacrifice anything and are awesome.
Level 35 (142 278 448 xp)
Strength: 24
Agility: 18
Hit points: 59
Skills to attributes: 4
Ironflesh: 0
Power Strike: 8
Shield: 6
Athletics: 6
Riding: 6
Horse Archery: 0
Power Draw: 0
Power Throw: 0
Weapon Master: 6
One Handed: 120
Two Handed: 1
Polearm: 128
Archery: 1
Crossbow: 1
Throwing: 1
I dunno man, your build just is not that optimized. You have to sacrifice something on an 18/24 @ level 35.
18/21 @ level 35 would be much better than your current one.
Level 35 (142 278 448 xp)
Strength: 18
Agility: 21
Hit points: 61
Attributes to skills: 1
Ironflesh: 4
Power Strike: 6
Shield: 7
Athletics: 7
Riding: 7
Horse Archery: 0
Power Draw: 0
Power Throw: 0
Weapon Master: 7
One Handed: 120
Two Handed: 1
Polearm: 140
Archery: 1
Crossbow: 1
Throwing: 1

hmm
i thought bout makin 6 athl. too. The differnece between 6 and 7 is the not same like the difference of 5 and 6? Idk that.Than i would properly take 6 athl.
i wanna go for 24 agi not because i want too run faster or ride better, i want too because im feelin ok wit 6 riding.I wanna go for 24 just becasue the wpf and too strike faster wit my weapon.
So u think higher Athl. and Riding is better than faster strikin , and more Wpf ( the more the better for a hybrid i think)?

That weapon master is not going to make you swing hardly faster at all, the difference between my proposed 120 1h vs your 130 is not something you could notice if you tried.
Same thing with my proposed 140 Pole vs your proposed 144. There is no swing speed difference between them.
However, increasing your athletics, riding, shield and such all to 7 on the 18/21 build is good. The riding will make you noticeably faster, and 5 athletics vs 7 athletics is huge, and here is why:
Stepping into your swings will make you MUCH faster at swinging your weapon. You'll have a faster effective attack speed since you'll be able to step into your swings faster.
So yes, you want to swing faster? My 18/21 @ level 35 build will do that for you since you'll have more athletics. Your riding will be noticeably faster and maneuverable with 7 riding because riding does so much. AAANNNDDD you'll have 4 Ironflesh which you could never have had before!
I'd go 18/21 at level 35 for what you want to do. Have fun man.

thats why made this thread :D
thx man for ur advices!!!

Like Brunchlady's 2nd suggestion, but would recommend removing 3 points from either ironflesh or shield and plan for a level 34 build (1 attribute = 2 skill points +1 for level 35 = 3 skill points). It is 81 million xp to get to level 34 and 181 million to get to level 35. You can always add those points back in if you ever get to level 35 (think next year sometime), but its better planning for what you can do. It wouldn't even hurt to take 3 points less shield and 3 points less iron flesh and plan for level 33 build as you will be playing there for a very very long time as well and then you can add those points abck in when you level (just use the option to convert attribute points to skill points), but the main point is in the meanwhile you will get the benefits of the 18/21 build rather than be sitting at 18/20 with unused skill points waiting forever to level up.

This is as smart advice as any I have heard. I am currently leveling to lvl 32, and I am 4 mill far from goal and already bored and can't wait to reach it. Fortunately, my build will be over when I do, and everything above will be a bonus.
I sincerely believe that the chances of you getting bored and quitting the game, or start playing with alts, are much higher than you eventually reaching lvl 35. It is a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG way to go.

I'm setting my endgame goal to level 33 and I'm somewhat doubtful that even I will make that far. I'm just gonna repeat what a lot of people have said here already, 7 shield is a waste and you'd be much better off to put it in riding or athletics.
-
ye im lookin for 33 build now..
18/21 gonna be good then
started from a 18/18
-
tl;dr
But the question that pops into my mind: will you really use that polearm skill?
My first build was very simmilar to what you propose. In the end, i specced out of polearm and specialized in 1h cav.
-
cant look in the future but atm i like too be that various in roles with that char.
how was ur build than?

Sound good, if you i would switch the proficiencies since you will drop the pole once you touch the ground, and it will happen many times. And you will rely in your 1h skill. 14 points in polearms wont so noticeable from horseback, and you will be glad you have +140 1h when you fight the guys who just sent you to the ground :). Also, drop 1 shield point (6 is more than enough if you are a decent 1h) and put it in athletics, shield is important but footwork is more when you fight 1h. For the rest is similar to what i had before the upkeep patch. Its the best character ever. You can go on foot as a breaking force. Can go on your horse, slash ppl, lance ppl, stab then in the face....if you feel like doing another thing, just get a pike and screw other horsemen from ground...For me, this build is basically the real knight build.

do 75wpf in xbow affect the upkeep
somebody know?
