*please move if in wrong forum section!
Just came back to home, and I'm facing 70-80 ping, while other players from around here get's about 40.
When I ping c-rpg.net manually from command prompt I get 35ms, but in-game its double that. I'm on win7 32bit with a zyxel wireless router modem.
I did the mtu-settings thing (turned it down to 1492 from 1500) in windows, Resetted the router, turned off QoS and firewall on the router, rebooted win7 and still high ping.
Any tips?

i'm interested in seeing about this. I've been playing with 120 PING when my normal ping should be 70...
Blocks not working are driving me crazy

with a zyxel wireless router modem.
There's your answer :P
Have you tried a cable connection yet to see if there's a difference?
-
Ask your ISP if they have interleaving activated for your connection, if yes, if it's possible to turn it off.

Double Ping??? I got x4 Ping today!
Seems to be a serverproblem.
-
its not the servers, i've had this problem before at home.
The servers are also having problems though.. So its nearly unplayable. :(

Just hopped on to see myself. 100-120 ping.

Do yourself a favor and dont fuck with network settings unless you are a Cisco certified expert. 9 times out of 10 messing with your MTU and QoS will WORSEN your pings.
ping 123.123.123.123 -t (continuous ping to see if there are intermittent problems. press ctrl-c to stop)
tracert 123.123.123.123 (follows the trail of hops to get to your destination. you can see problem networks that may be congested to see if it is a regional problem. when you see the average ping go up drastically, try pinging that ip to see how it responds)
note: not all servers/networks support pings. You will not always get replies because a company has chosen to disable ping replys so they dont get DOS attacked by eThugs

Hi Thomek
I have this issue myself, even stop playing with my main archer character on eu servers. Strange, but I have better results on NA servers with 200+ ping and lot of stregth oriented builds. But I have stable ping there, bad but stable.
There is good thingy - http://winmtr.net/
This program can simultaneously make Ping and Tracert commands, also showing all intermediate nodes between your pc and game server. At least you can see where the BIG problem is.
regards

idky but everytime i play on one of the EU servers, i end up with like 100-120 and sometimes as high as 140
