Title: Some light heraldic armour
Post by: Gisbert_of_Thuringia on June 30, 2011, 06:12:40 pm: Hi, didn't find a thread about this, so I start one.

Why is there no light armour, something very light like the padded armour or something equal, with an almost equal amount of weight and stats, but with a tabard over it or with a banner on it?

As an archer I would sometimes really like to wear the banner of my clan, but all heraldic things are too heavy :(

And i don't think that archers never wore their King's or Lord's banner in a battle^^

Please add something like that :)

But it seems that if you find models there is a chance.

+1 to the idea, I was just talking about this.

Post by: Dehitay on July 01, 2011, 05:38:29 pm: I'm not really sure how graphic design works in Warband, but if you set a heraldic color like how you set a transparent color in photoshop, couldn't you just use anything with a large section of one color as a template?

Just a shot in the dark, but maybe there could be an option on the website for whether or not to color your armor with your heraldry or use the default textures (whichever looks better).

dude there are hundret of threats already that demand heraldic leather, padded armors or heraldic tunics.

i still wonder why the devs didnt implement such heraldics yet..
