In my opinion the balance between Agi and Str atm is a bit wrong.
While IF and PS which you get with Str get a fixed amount of +% every lvl
Weaponmaster gets more ineffective every further lvl if you dont plan to go hybrid.
Solution would be: Reduce free WPF per lvl, increase WPF per point in Weaponmaster.
This would give a bit balance back.

agreed. I had a similar suggestion back several months ago. Strength builds are the norm in c-rpg at the moment because of the lack of need of agility.

+1, I can run faster than 90% of the Siege population with 2 athletics. Agility needs a lil scooting up, because strength build, even with 3 agility max strength you can be top score no problem. In contrast, if you have 3 strength and the rest agi, maybe in 6 minutes you can take out that sumpter horse that ran off and bumped you.

No.
If you want agility to affect wpf do it directly - you get X amount of wpp to spend per agility just like in the single-player game (you get 15 per agility there). Weapon master is for large wpp boosts and it makes agility meaningful only in multiplications of 3. It also eats skill points that you can use elsewhere now when you do not need to raise it very high.

And what if I do? :D Is it just me or you've just suggested to "balance" things by making ppl, who look forward every wpp they can get even less effective comparing to pure builds?
Cmon, per-lvl wpp is tiny already and mean next to nothing above 100 points in smth.

I think you misread what he is saying. If you go Hybrid, and have agility, your overall WPF would be about the same. This suggestion is more towards giving pure strength builds a drawback.

I dont think AGi/atheltics will ever be viable due to the game engine. Too many 'sticky glue traps' that completely slow you down for no reason, which is guaranteed death for speed based builds.

Ah yet more ideas to remove the variety and choices out of the game.
Frankly I dont see why I shouldn't be able to go pure strength or, and I did indeed do this as crap as it is with an older char, go pure agi just for fun.
I always thought that was the point of crpg, the variety from singleplayer that is missing in Native multiplayer....... actually being introduced into multiplayer.
Oh and as a final thought to those who think I might be defending strength builds because I am one, this char is 12 strength and the rest is agi. Of course seeing as how ive lost the char twice now, it isnt high level, but that was my aim.
How is this in any way preventing you from pure strength?
The only difference is that 30str would have a cost in slower weapons.
