Title: what xbow with 1wpf

So I could not find any thing, though I am pretty bad at navigating forums, but I would really like to know what xbow would work with 1wpf.
Currently I am working a 2h build but I would like to be able to "snipe" someone who is far away or running away from me, currently my xbow is 40, is the Arbalest best suited for this?

crossbow is 1 + steel bolts 1 slot, so it you want to keep your 2handed weapon which is two slots you need to use it
or you take arbalest 2 slots + steel bolts 1 slot and a 1handed/2handed mode weapon like military sickle, fighting Axe or Langes messer
but i would rather use crossbow + 2handed weapon

Thanks, is the damage still enough to possibly one hit kill some one?

thats for you to decide, if you make a headshot with crossbow its still 1shot kill, everything else does damage but doesnt often kill.
i would rather use good weapon be able to fight,.

I use a spiked mace (the 2h) with a heavy xbow and bolts and I do fine.

Since damage is not wpf or skill related, you'll be able to atleast hamper them enough to kill them easily. Crossbow with 1wpf is actually a good mid-close range cheap shot,  before you run into melee :D

I heard in one of the recent patch notes, I do believe, that crossbow Wpf actually impacts damage now.
That used to be true for sure though.

What, no it doesn't. Crossbow WPP does NOT effect damage. r

I'm probably wrong since after 3 minutes of looking I did not find it, But I read it somewhere and have heard others talk about the change in teamspeak and such.
 I dunno man.

Scratch that, I'm loving the langes in secondary for a 1 slot 2h with an xbow
