Horsemen have always used flank attacks...get with the thousand year old(+) picture.

on my charger i only feared pikes head on. Most times a direct assault while zig-zagging would yield good results

With the LoC you could charge their front. You could also sometimes get away with charging a 1h or 2h from the front.
