There is some awkward stuff going on lately, more and more i see people just standing arround in the most cases naked. Some naked dues grab weapons from fallen players but thats still not good for the team and bad playingstyle in my eyes. I dont like it when they are in my team, but if they fight i dont say anything. But the leechers just got on my nervs. I like to play and i like to win, with the knowledge, suchlike is in your team, demorlizes.
chadz you were hoping with lowering the repair costs to 5% or what it was, would revert these actions, seems so it did not help altogether. So you can make them higher again and reach your goal, but do also something about these leechers with however possible, please!

The game should not penalize your gold gain because you wore heavy armor and used your weapons. The unrealistic leechers are because of a system that rewards it. Players need more direct influence on their xp and gold gain.

OFFTOPIC: one of the intentions as far as i understood it was, to level the field, so that not only havy gear is all arround. tincan/xbow, etc.
Personaly i would have done it like he did it with XP and heirloomed, just cut 2/3 of the gold away, 10% upkeep and much less gold income as we have atm.
So you can were your havy gear only to very special occasions.
But, atm it is silly to go naked as you can earn shitloads of money in light armor and it is unfair to your teammates who can't rely on your help as much as they could if you get in at least with light armor and small weapons.

well if they do so and fight it is at least something, but today again 1-5 are allways without gear in mostly every match i was in.

there is no way to autokick leechers
1. idlers can be kicked after some time
leecher will move from time to time to not get kicked by that
2. players that will not hit or kill anyone can be kicked
but what about not very good players who is trying to hit someone but they don't have skill/luck
3. kicking naked guys far away from the battle
they can wear low tier items

what about 'ninjas' etc.?
for now admins are doing good job kicking leechers, or banning them - and a thing this is all we can do
unless there will be gold/xp for killing/damaging - so there will be a little less leechers

Admins are banning only afk leechers. Today, I just started my first session and saw about 8 naked people in my team, admittedly, with some weapons. But they were naked! Yesterday, the guy in my team joined without any weapons and was just running around for an hour, while everyone was pissed of because of multiplier. There were no admins present, and the first kick poll didn'd get through.
Idea would be to make it obligatory for a player to wear certain value in equipment, based on the amount of gold he possesses and value of equipment he/she owns. For example, when I go to Strategus, I see that value of my equipment and gold adds up to 32000. Lets say there would be limitation which would forbid me from joining a server if I am wearing less than one third of this, which would not influence my cashflow too much, and it would still prevent me from playing naked or without weapons.

I admit I have no idea what to do with ninjas. Maybe they can donate excess money?

i would like to have greater rewards for better players ;o but that would be bad for the casual players..

That brings an eternal question : WHAT do you want ?
If you're a good player, neither gold nor gear are necessary.
So what ? Fancy helmets ? Neon armors ?
If leechers want to leech, let them : a noob in full gear is still a noob.
BUT I agree that they are penalizing a team, being intentionally useless.

Of course, another option would be to open a hunting season for leechers and allow their teammates without being banned or kicked to kill at sight anyone without weapon or armor. At least.

If I want to be a crossbowman I need to use Heavy Crossbow or Siege Crossbow to be a good killer, and that cost ~850 and ~500 + bolt ~100 gold when broken
with x3 multiplier we can have 450-750gold
the main problem is hiding leechers who are not helping at all
even idlers are better than them (they are in the starting area)

No money to repair, yeah right. Then they should sell that armor or weapon and get cheaper.

even if I'm using that low tier armor + only one weapon and if I don't have luck I will loose money even with x2 multiplier
with crossbow I can always earn money only when I will have x5 and round will not end before 6min
and I have a palfrey and heavy lance too
we need something to reward hard work (killing) even if our team will lose

If you see a naked leecher, ask an admin to kick player "x"

I noticed that several servers have changed their rules, so that leeching is banable, thanks admins, this is taking a bit of anger out of me already.
Btw, same servers have added a another good thing, unintentionaly tks are not banable but you should ask for forgiveness, nice touch , i like it.
EDIT: Another thing i noticed several times, people with high value gear, are leaving shortly before they die. I dont know if it is possible in that way to trick the server for not paying repair costs.
