Title: Banner creation

I'd like to tinker with a few banner ideas but I'm unable to find a suitable banner template, can anyone help me out?

It's .psd, but if you use Gimp, it should work as well.

I didn't even know, but GIMP supports well psd files.

You can also start with this simple frame :

thats pretty much everthing you need for starting your banner
