Sample ingame: http://youtu.be/cfQu2nuDt8A

Settings save for normal warband (Try it): http://www.mbrepository.com/file.php?id=2013
Instructions:
1. Download and install Pilfius
2. Load Warband settings to try on normal warband
(Someone needs to make a saved setting for Crpg (I can't because my mic is broke)
Someone needs to program the software for mount and blade and post it up here.
It's easy! I would do it but I need a new microphone.
I've used this voice recognition Program before to play games like mount and blade that require you to press keys to communicate.
All you do to program the software is speak the words and link them to a sequence of keys.
Example: Saying CHARGE automatically initiates Y+A+X (charge)
This should be incorporated into the front page of the c-rpg.net website with the patch updates.
THIS WILL IMPROVE THE GAMEPLAY!!!
What do you guys think?

Sounds cool. Would probably increase the voice command spam, though. Oh, why the second thread?

Poll option. I tried deleting the other one.. As far as spamming, there should be a voice cap
-
This would be good, because unlike speaking to people through the mic, you can hear peoples character based on their distance from you. Also, there are lots of time when I'm being chased by a gang of guys and I'm unable to call for help. This is a great communication system for letting you team mates know when there are incoming enemies.
-
There should be a test run. another suggestion is that maybe there should be a voice cap.
-
nice idea! though i hope the program won't recognise the voices of all the 10 year olds who play this, that would relive much of the spam :P
-
I like the idea, gonna try it out.
Who made this? (Credits)
-
Yeah, i bind everything i could say to whistle and since im in TS all the time i would spam the fuck out...
NO

It's non-mandatory, just don't use it.
-
so there isn't a real reason not to put this in lol

lmao hopefully they won't know how to set it up.

It wouldn't be me who abuses that. I hate voice command spam, it posthumous a lot but this would fire the it up into oblivion.
-
Well I HATE when 10 of my teammates are running off when I'm surrounded by like 10 enemies just because my teammates backs are turned to the enemies. I need to let them know there's incoming. Also, in war, I'm pretty sure everyone isn't quiet while they're fighting.
I tell you what! Someone who agrees with me, Just post up the settings save for the voice command. We'll Put it in the forum.
If you're mature use it.
Like I said before: There should be a voice cap or something that keeps people from spamming in the next CRPG update.
I'm just saying! I'm tired of being jumped and having people not know what's behind them. Drives me nuts!!!
-
Another thing. Why is there character voices in the game at all if we can't us it on time in the game. That's Dumb.
Voice command is an Idea that may bring crpg to another level in future updates.
You never know, The updates in the future may have a Leader voting system, where a player is voted as a leader with certain voice options opened up to only that player. Then everyone get's points for listening to that leader or something. There may be Command matches or something.
WHAT DO YOU THINK?

Well, i actually posted a different solution to this: http://forum.c-rpg.net/index.php/topic,5269.0.html
Binding voice commands directly to key with the use of a configuration file or something.

Wow. You really did. Well I guess some of us will just have to download it.
I agree with you krampe.

in one perspective its botting you say one thing an you move forward, E.G leechers would say attack and move forward in one direction then go on youtube or something then just wait till they hear everyone respawn. in another perspective it is a very good idea and could be very useful and make thing simpler for us but if it only does keys we would still have to click to attack... also what if we are in teamspeak or vent and are talking what do we do then? not saying its a bad idea or a good one just trying to understand better on how it could workout.
