Title: Strategus Battle - Random Game Mode Switch?

So, we were in the middle of a scrimm with TKOV. Right at 22:00 CT our server kicked everybody and switched the game mode to strategus battle with the factions being "pub crawl" and "daharan legions".

I checked our server logs and nobody switched the game mode to strategus battle. all of our stats remained the same but obviously our equipment was changed. the tickets were going down with kills as usual and quite frankly it was awesome.

After about 20 minutes or so of trying to contact the devs in irc without any response i decided to switch the game mode back to battle.

Please could somebody shine some light on this issue? Any response from a dev is surely welcome. has any other server had this issue?

I am confused.

Yeah I got the tail end of that... very strange, but hopefully a good sign?

What you have seen is of course nothing special and surely didn't happen at all. Perhaps you had been drinking? Or perhaps you are delusional?

It is nothing but a natural phenomenon you have spotted. These anomalies happen all the time did you know that?

I've seen this happen on multiple servers randomly in the past weeks.

Actually this happens to our server sometimes. Its a known glitch.

To any more infos about strategus: chadz made a post about it some days back. Just look at his posts in his account...
