§1: The purpose of this tournament is for different clans to work together and have fun doing so. The point is, that here is the chance to work together with your enemies and against your friends.
§2: Teams will consist of different clans.
§2a: Teams will not have a fixed size as of now, but will depend on how many clans sign up. All teams will have the same size.
§2b: At least 4 teams must be created before this tournament can be created.
§2c: If at all possible each team will consist of the same number of clans.
§2d: Clans will be assigned to teams by
me. I will decide after
careful discussion with each clan leader signed up for battle and the referees.
§2e: Each team will have the following equipment restrictions:
25% (rounded down) may ride a horse, only 25% of those may have a horse more expensive than Destrier.
25% (Rounded down) may carry a ranged weapon
20% (Rounded down) may carry an armor heavier than transitional (no restrictions on shields, helmets, boots and gloves)
All weapons are allowed
§2f: Each team will have a commander. The commander will command the battle, organize battletime in cooperation with each of the clan leaders, make a roster so all equipment restrictions are kept etc.
§2g: The commander is decided by popular vote within the team. A commander may nominate himself.
§2g clarified: Yes, that means larger clans have a bigger chance to decide who becomes commander.
§2h: Each team will face each other once in a round robin style tournament. Win gives 3 points, draw 1, loss 0.
§3: Each clan can sign up with either 5,10, 15 or 20 members.
§3a: Substitutes may be brought in from other clans or randomers if the team cannot show up with agreed upon number of players. HOWEVER the subsitute must be approved my the opposite team commander. The referees must approve as well (But cannot approve if opposite team commander did not).
§3b: Players must wear their clans tag and banner...
§4: Edits after the first battle:
Map will be
large steppe Medium steppe.
There will be a
map change after each 5 finished rounds.
Each team consists of 75 members. 25% rounded down means 18 people.
- That is 18 cavalry of which 4 may be heavier than destrier.
- 18 ranged.
- 15 may wear armor heavier than transistional.
HA counts as 1 ranged + one cav.
Flags not allowed
Concerning Draws: if a team at the end of a round (draw) has more than twice as many +1 players alive than the enemy they will win the round.
Referees can warn players that they are delaying and if there request to engange is not heeded a win can be awarded to the opposing team.
Referees must warn min. 2 times and at least 30 sec. before end of round, preferably 1 min.
Cavalry beware: As you are the most maneuverable you decide when and where to fight. Do not delay... You might risk your team loosing a match.Total battle cannot last more than 1 hour and 30 min.
§5: Each battle will have 3-5 referees.
§5a: The Principal referee will start the battle and have overall responsibility for the rules in battle.
§5b: One referee will be assigned to each team. They must help the principal referee and be especially watchful over their assigned team.
§5c:
Very Important: When each team spawns every one stands still. No kicking, no running around, no chatting NOTHING. Each player that carries equipment with restrictions go to their assigned corner of spawn. Each team referee checks that all restrictions are kept and tell the principal referee that everything is in order.
§5d: Only when the principal referee has given the go is the battle live.
§5e: There will be NO warnings, No nothing just a sweet kick if people cannot obey to stand still or move to their corner. If so happens the team will have one less player that round.
Did you all get it? Stand still, no kicking, no slashing no boxing, no chatting. Just stand still or move to your corner until the principal referee says go....
