I have no opinion on this either way, was just an idea I had. It could be good. but whatever!~!~!~!~!~!

Aye it would be wonderfull but the rage from all the Archers with low upkeep gear will not allow melee infantry to cash in on a kill even it means that we would be better able to afford our armor...'
Also i dont think comrade chadz will want us to stand out and be better then anyone :mrgreen:
Say 10 gold for killing anyone between lvl 1-10 and 20 gold for 10-20 and 30 gold for 20-30 and a tiny bit of xp or something??

True but back then we didnt have upkeep nor did we have a global multi system of the current one..
Hes suggestion would rly just give the guys wearing expensive shit or the common joe get a little helping hand on hes upkeep for gettin you that x2 x3 x4 ect ect...
As it is now it doenst matter if u go 25/2 you will still get raped by upkeep when your teams losing/winning.
And dont bring in the Team wound card it all rdy happens constantly people will always want kills it will never change unless chadz brought in some penalty system..

So the rich get richer? It would have to give gold based on what loadout you are using vs. what loadout you just killed. Otherwise the people wearing black armor with becs or people running around with plate and plated chargers would possibly be able to play without losing money.

Take your own advice, none of the options have anything to do with the equipment of the person who gets the kill. The options clearly point to better geared players getting more money, especially the option for multikills. Try again failtroll.

Could you add another yes option? Currently there is the option to accidentally disagree, which could skew your poll results. :rolleyes:

This is a written no vote, since none exists, though I would like to see a system which detracts gold for team damage and team kills.

Well, if kills give gold, tk's would subtract equivalent gold, methinks.

Neither dealt damage nor kills truly represent skills or value, so I'd vote "no".

This has probably been said already, but I think that "money for kills" would increase kill-steals and team-killing.
I don't like the idea until you have a way of rewarding players who assist, too.

how about if you teamkill all the gold/xp you earn off kills is given to the tk'd person instead.

At the moment the concept of cash for kills or dmg is beating the "NO I'M OLD AND DON'T LIKE CHANGE!" camp by a far whack.
To all the silly, silly trolls with no sense of humour. There is a no option, its right in the damned middle. GROW A PAIR, "ooo I'm offended. How terrible!" its not going to kill you.

I wish people would learn grammar, and spelling wouldn't go a miss either. We however, can not always get what we want, and rarely get what we wish for.

I like the current system since it's so much more balanced towards new people. If we went back to money for kills, all the good people would be making WAY more money than everyone else.
Then we'd see plated chargers and tincans all over the place again and it would be easier for them to purchase heirlooms. Not to mention the fact that going to that system would benefit cav/ranged more than melee.
I for one don't want to return to the dark days before the new money/xp system.

Gettin 20 kills with the gold awarded that i posted wouldn't even be enough to afford 5% of your upkeep if your wearing plate and ride a plated charger.... it would just add some sorta rewarding feeling towards the player and a tiny help on hes upkeep..

Re-reading your post, it would be reasonable as long as there was a penalty for team damage/team kills. Since the average person is a retard, we need something to stop kill hungry whores from spamming all over the place and hitting their teammates. However, I still don't think it's a great idea for a technical issue.
It would dramatically increase the amount of communication needed between the server and database, which could potentially slow things down. I'm not an engineer or anything, but maybe someone who is has some input?

Agree. a penalty system for team wounding would be needed perhaps -100 gold for tk ect ect...
Also the system would be better if it rewarded dmg and not the kill per say..
That way everyone would have a good chance :)

Re: server issue. Perhaps a salution would be to have all the data sent at the beginning of each round. But you are probably right it may drown chadez server.
