Where on the character model does the leg armor start to be used instead of the body armor? Is it about halfway down the thigh where the graphics for body armor end?
-
I want to know too. Bump.
-
It starts a little below the knee.
-
If that is true, I need to value leg armor significantly lower than what I currently do.
Does anyone have exact knowledge of:
a) Where it starts (Is "just below the knee" correct?)
and
b) What the damage modifier for leg hits versus chest hits is?
-
Not a little below the knee, some armor have a leg armor stat and don't even reach the knee.
leg armor start at the leg...
-
Damage depends on skeleton bone hit, not on generic "regions".
head bone: melee 120%, ranged 210%
thigh/calf bones: 90%
every other bone: 100%

Thanks. +1

So its the thigh and calf bone...so the leg armor covers the WHOLE leg it seems.
-
I'm not sure about this. I run around in saranid guard which has basically no leg armor and lvl 1 boots and I get shot in the leg by arrows all the time and take very little damage. now when they shoot below the ankles I take alot more damage. Anyone do some testing?
-
In native isnt 150% head 100% body and 50% legs?
-
Here we go, damage locations. I was sure I read something about that;
Damage depends on skeleton bone hit, not on generic "regions".
head bone: melee 120%, ranged 210%
thigh/calf bones: 90%
every other bone: 100%
I'm not sure if they fucked up or something, but thigh and calf get damage reduction, foot doesn't.

Reminds me of Achilles. :)
