How to Join!Speak to any Member of the clan (not a Land Lover) or be asked to join by a member.
Ranking:
Captains and First Mates may approve rises in rank up to the rank of Swashbuckler. Any rank higher than that must be approved by the Pirate Lord
How to rise in rank: Duel test with one or several higher ranking officers. Specifics to be determined by the Captain or First Mate
Pirate Lord
The lord of all pirates. Holds the power to do as he pleases without being questioned. No pirate can achieve this rank until the current Pirate Lord steps down.
Captain
The captain is the top rank any Privateer can reach as long as the rank of Pirate Lord is filled. The captain maintains those in his crew and holds the power to approve new recruits or make an unruly pirate walk the plank!
First Mate
The First Mate holds no powers different from the Quartermaster other than that he/she is acting Captain when the true Captain is away
Quartermaster
The Quartermaster is in charge of handling the small disputes between the lower ranking pirates.
Swashbuckler
The first position that receives any real respect. Holds no real power, but is allowed the privilege of drinking the ship's rum, using foul language in front of higher ranking officers, and demanding the respect of lower ranking pirates
Bilge Rat
The Bilge Rat has moved from the rank of swab and receives a small rise in respect and is in charge of working the sails and other technical aspects of the ship.
Swab
Those who pass the recruitment test. Their duties include swabbing the deck (hence "swab"), removing barnacles, and other cleaning duties.
Land Lover
Those being considered for recruitment. They have no respect, are not allowed to question those ranking Swashbuckler or higher, and are to be watched carefully as they may be spies of some other fleet.
All Armor must be light when we battle as a clan. NO EASTERN STYLE ARMOR. Apart from the clan you can wear what you choose

No Wakizashi. (Scimitar preferred)

No Lances (Cavalry was never found on the sea!) or Eastern Style Polearm
