I currently have 5 alts who are either level 30, or have retired multiple times. I feel as though I'd rather concentrate my efforts into one character but I always want to change up my play style to suit my mood. This gave rise to a new build idea that I'd like to get some feedback for.
Level 30
Str: 15
Agi: 18
Attr to Skill: 2
PS: 5
Shield: 4
Atheltics: 6
Riding: 6
HA: 3
PD: 5
WM: 6
As for weapon proficiency, I'd like to hear from someone who has a MW strong bow. Does the MW version give a noticeable increase in accuracy over an un-heirloomed strong bow? I'd really like to save at least 90 points for a 1h wpf but don't want to gimp archery too much by doing so.
I realize I will be quite mediocre at several gameplay styles but the thought is that I will be able to play 1h/shielder, HA, foot archer and 1h cav on the same character build.
Thoughts/criticisms are appreciated!

Interesting... but honestly, you won't be able to do much with 0 IF and only 5 PD (except as horse archer and 1h shielder).
I don't really think it would work, but give it a shot. It would be fun.

IF isn't that important, you can succeed quite easily without it

A HA has to make a lot of sacrifices for combining two stat-demanding builds (archer and cav) and adding shields on top of that, I think the IF is an acceptable sacrifice.
As a personal note, have at least 140wpf bare minimum, so be wary of sacrificing points of archery for one handed. Preferably I like at least 150 wpf in archer but that is just me and may or may not work for you. I say spend all your points as you level into archery, and once you reach the level where you have the accuracy that you find acceptable, then you can dumpa any and all future points into 1 hander.

As far as the wpf, that's what I was afraid of. After doing some preliminary testing with one of my archer alts, 130 wpf is too low for my tastes. (I lowered my wpf through weight).

Looks pretty decent, though I really would like to do archery rather than xbow as I just got a MW Strong bow off the market :P
I do like the 6 ps/pd though, I find a 1h cut weapon with 5 ps is a little low, which is one of the drawbacks to my build.

i think a military cleaver might be a good solution - it has great dmg, nice speed and nice length... i use it very effectively with 60 wpf myself (that is mw cleaver though)

That is encouraging to hear though, I might be able to get away with a bit less 1h wpf than I had planned on

nah, won't trade, sorry :)
I use it when someone kills my horse, and i can use it effectively also with a bad shield (The long heater shield) - i even get 5+ kills sometimes. That as i said before with mw cleaver, 60 wpf and then 7 PS.
It was also fine back when i didnt have mw, so no worries there :D
get a decent shield and you will do fine

That was the type of build I played from August until December, a 1h/shield HA light cavalry. I think it had no athletics, 3 shield, 21 or 24 agility and about 130 1h and 170 bow. For gear I used a regular cavalry shield, battle axe, khergit bow/arrows and a sarranid horse. It was nice having flexibility at that time but like you predict now, kinda mediocre in the power department compared to more dedicated builds.

I did this build except instead of shield i did IF.
I expected it to be really bad. I made this build to plan my final HA build.
It was acually quite good. the athletics and ps on a HA really makes you versitile.
for wpf i did 150 archery 50 one handed
i did have mw strongbow and mw khergit arrows. I am done retiring my HA now and my final build is
