Hilarious review, I played some Space Station 13 some time ago, great game being held back by an absolutely awful platform/framework that makes it play like shit.
However, there seems to be a Unity remake of SS13 being made, so hopes this gets somewhere: https://store.steampowered.com/app/801140/unitystation/

I mean how many people would've heard of Yume Nikki, gachimuchi, serial experiment Lain, YTPMV/MAD, dwarf fortress, Type Moon, Kamen Rider, idolm@ster, etc if you asked them about it years ago?
Stuff that was once enjoyed by niche communities is becoming popular with a broader audience mainly due to it being spotlighted by content creators. This is because of the competetive nature of platforms such as Youtube and Twitch, where you constantly have to be the first in a new "trend". It's pretty hard to be a trend setter in a new market like , for example, a new AAA game, since you'd be competing with big names in an environment where nothing is established so you can imagine the appeal of more obscure stuff with an already established community and no competition.
This is probably why there are so many youtubers "archiving" """"""""""""""""internet history"""""""""""""""", because the "history" has already been written and the only thing left for you to do is copy it and put it in your video.
Did you read through that autism? Well congratulations you have the mental endurance to survive through 1 round of interacting with the subhuman troglodytes who play SS13.
