Title: Strategus - Rhodok Equipment

If you guys haven't known already, I'm building an army so as to siege a castle. But I'm wondering how I should kit out a soldier with equipment, equipment that will be able to hold it's own against AI gear. Honestly, I think my equipment will not be able to match AI gear by far, but here is what I'm proposing

Helmets:
Tier 1: Eyeslot Kettlehat with Padded Coif - 60 Silver

Tier 2: Footman's Helmet - 20 Silver

Body Armor:
Tier 1 (Just Extra Armor with Limited Quantity)  : Green Brigadine Over Aketon - 249 Silver

Tier 2 (Tier 1): Gilded Aketon - 128 Silver

Tier 3 (Tier 2): Leather Ranger Armor - 52 Silver

Leg Armor:

Tier 1: Green Hose with Kneecops - 15 Silver

Tier 2: Ankle Boots - 4 Silver

Weapons 1h

Tier 1 (Just Extra Weapons with Limited Quantity): Fighting Pick - 137 Silver

Tier 2 (1): Falchion - 29 Silver

Tier 3 (2): Shortsword - 17 Silver

Weapons 2h

Tier 1: Italian Longsword - 396 Silver

Tier 2: Maul - 65 Silver

Shields

Tier 1: Plain boardshield - 108 Silver

Tier 2: Old Boardshield - 28 Silver

Polearm

Tier 1: Pike - 318 Silver

Tier 2: Spear - 67 Silver

Kits

Kit Tier 1 (1h+Shield) 203 + 137 - 340 Silver

Kit Tier 2 (1h+Shield) 76 + 45 - 121 Silver

Kit Tier 1 (Spear + T1Shield) 203 + 175 - 378 Silver

Kit Tier 2 (Spear + T2Shield) 76 + 95 - 171 Silver

Kit Tier 1 (2h) 203 + 396 - 599 Silver

Kit Tier 2 (2h) 76 + 65 - 141 Silver

At bare minimum, if I got a Tier 2 1h+Shield kit , equipped bare minimum 1000 troops with it.... 121,000 silver.....

..... And that's tier 2, which will never be able to match up with AI gear. Excluding siege equipment and gear....

*sigh*

why is that an issue? 121k to siege a castle is cheap as fuck, and it's super early in strat.

Bro that's cheap....It's slow/expensive because you aren't bothering to trade....

Whats the item count for each item? Hard to give a review without knowing that


I've made 121k silver and I havent even left my village in 2 weeks

Also, I've mostly been battling so you all have a point. I'll try to start trading more ^-^

you don't need a fief, normal ticks give you silver and you also get 50silver per tick if you arent recruiting troops. this adds up.
