do you know other games where clans bash public? no? why not if its so awesome? yes? whats the player count in that game?

i would begin with a comprehensive homo rehabilitation program to convert players who play gay classes like ranged and thrower, this program would include group therapy and shock therapy to cure them of their disease and purge the mod of gaylords

I see the thread went from serious to NA meme real quick (was OP even seriois tho ugh)but I got a few ideas(again) (this time completely productive though)

@Prof

Remove banner balance for below 20 players(15?), so we dont get shitty clan stacks on low pop that kills the server even more, i hope this is possible.

Free respec for gold, I suppose this was tried at one point, dunno what caused ot to fail but it still is a good idea

Fix some serious balance issues. Especially the fast overhead of polearms that was implemented by Tydeus(?) it makes 2h a useless option. 2h requires some sort of buff as it's the weakest class atm imo and it definitely isn't fun to play cus of this.

Fix psuedonyms, lol you might've already I haven't checked but it's important for regaining somewhat of the roster balances we had.

WIPE GOLD LOOMS LEVELS LETS GO

Perhaps introduce +4 +5 items? Dunno how those can be balanced but surely would be a nice endgame goal.

I've thought the team balance sucked forever in crpg.  I'd say we'd be better off removing any balance except that you can't join the other team if it has more people than the current team you're on (or when first joining you can't join the team with more people). 

I never liked banner balance either.  It's endorsing pub stomps which should never be done.  I'm okay fighting my clan mates on the other team, in fact they'll be the first ones I try to stab in the face (ok to be honest it will be in the butt when they're not looking, but you get the idea). 

We'd probably have more evenly matched teams if all balance was removed (since I was told it's a cluster fuck of code that can't be unwoven).

There are definitely ways to make banner balance work (or work better, at least) but since the code is irreparable there's no sense wasting time writing up any suggestions.

its not that the banner balance doesnt work, it shouldnt be on FFA servers at all, its for strat.

just give all a flat static xp/gold income regardless of win/lose.

to elaborate on the "unfixable" part:

a "fixed" crpg would (imo) be a 2012ish crpg version. this is no possible to achieve.

since donkeys left, 1001 code-alchemists have had their go with the crpg mixture, there has been too many chefs and the soup is now spoiled. the mod is so far from what it use to be. if only we had a backup of the 2012 version :/

just play the mod as is.

threads like these isnt exactly a good way to gain new players

My suggestion was to remove it entirely...I think it's better than the shit patch work of "balance" we have now for teams
