Title: CRPG for linux
Post by: Nickleback on August 24, 2018, 12:14:24 pm
Call me a scrub, hipster or whatever.
I'm trying to get this shit to work on my linux, because my windowns laptop decided to burn itself in a terroristic mood

I tried Wine, but crpg launcher wants to find a file to install c-rpg in, but I found no such file in my library whatsoever. Normally on windows, you'd just go to program files/steam/etc and install it there, but that is not the case here.

the mod is probably dead, but heard some people were still playing from time to time, I just want to feel that bit of nostalgia again :)

You could try joining the Discord and asking Pestdoktor I know he was running a mac at some point. But I think that WSE2 (which is required for the game) is not compatible with mac.

I think people at some stage managed to get SOMEWHERE with it, but I'm not 100% sure, even if it does work as James said you won't be able to use WSE2 which already creates in itself an issue as a result of that. You'll struggle doing anything on a Crapple bro, sry :(

From what I remember that "somewhere" that people have gotten is down to dual booting windows on the mac, so you either have to buy a copy of windows along with the software you'll need to dual boot or you buy yourself a new computer that functions :c
