I know one of you nerds have Crpg running in Linux.
So I have Warband with mods running just fine in Linux Ubuntu (Mint), but I haven't figured out how to run Crpg natively and I never used Wine before. Anyone with prior experience wants to help a dumb nerd out, you can reply here or hit me up on Steam.
I really don't want to dual-boot Windows, but I will if it means it will stop the Strat spam that I am getting and it gives me a chance to shove a pike in someone's arse.
Steam: Merrrica
Linux Distro: Linux Mint 19 xfce
Linux Kernel: 4.15.23 or 4.17.5
Wine: I'll take dry white chilled

I mqnaged to get it runninng dx7 under wine, but sadly without wse2. No magic required for that untic the wse2 and pick dx7 under configuration menu. Some extra dlls are required installing some newer netframework with winetrick might be helpfull.
I might check it again but I am super busy during season for next 4 months so can't promise anything.
Fun fact is that native runs better for.me under linux on my pc.
