Can an admin please move this thread to spam? Sorry I don't know why I posted this in general other than its the first time I have seen it and a shameless attempt at attention whoring for upvotes. I have probably watched every episode of Futurama a million times. For some reason I have a hard time getting into Rick and Morty. Thank you.

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Rick and Morty. The humour is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of theoretical physics most of the jokes will go over a typical viewer’s head. There’s also Rick’s nihilistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation- his personal philosophy draws heavily from Narodnaya Volya literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these jokes, to realise that they’re not just funny- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Rick & Morty truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn’t appreciate, for instance, the humour in Rick’s existential catchphrase “Wubba Lubba Dub Dub,” which itself is a cryptic reference to Turgenev’s Russian epic Fathers and Sons. I’m smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as Dan Harmon’s genius wit unfolds itself on their television screens. What fools.. how I pity them.

I have been aware of Rick and Morty for awhile, just missed the Rick and Bender references. And I love Archer watch that all the time too.

Haven't seen Rick & Morty and only saw few Archer gifs. I am a fan of Mike Judge and his work.

Mr Pickles starts off really weird and fun, but it gets dull soon since it's just the same thing over and over

also, a lot of jokes have terrible timing and some stuff is just edgy instead of fun

it's like a horror game which mostly relies on jumpscares. Cheap, does its job but mostly forgettable

All those hidden s.w.a.s.t.i.k.a.s that got past the jewish re-viewer was the last drop. That show was so good, the baseball scene ending was the best one.

Might be related to how painfully unfunny and cringy MDE was, despite humor being what was expected of it. Not saying Mr Pickles is much better, for all I care it should get dropped as well in favor of something better.

The show was cancelled for political reasons; alleged connections to the alt-right and accustions that the show promoted racism, sexism and bigotry. Main accuser being a Jewish Buzzfeed journalist named Joseph Bernstein, claiming the show had coded messages and hidden cute puppies.

I think it was great.
