As the title says, I would like to suggest a free +3 exchange, once every 7 days.
-
You meant exchange right, because you already have unlimited amounts of reforge already.
Reforge: gib+3 item, take 2 looms
Exhange: gib+3 item, take +3item
It doesnt sound bad tbh.
-
Yeah, my bad.
Thank you Kratos.
-
It will make the gold problem even worse.
I suggest to take a fee of, for example, 2mil per exchange (and in this case the time delay between exchanges will not be needed at all).
-
I think it shouldn't be free. Maybe one +3 exchange per week with like 100k gold per loompoint on the exchange.
-
Not free but would be good to have them available in the shop at a set price, say 1 mil gold. Also LPs too, but at a higher set price. Would be a good way to get gold out of the community and add more looms to the player base, a!so would see LPs drop in price as market whores have to keep their prices lower than shop prices. Basically win all round.
-
I'm working on getting into shop but for now you should see more exchanges on marketplace auctions.
-
Greek asking for free stuff, colour me surprised
-
But this should be a totaly random exchange, i.e.
1. You select 1-3 from your loomed items you want to exchange
2. Some randomizator runs, like a wheel of fortune with all the shop's items available as a possible result
3. So you get 1-3 loomed, but absolutely random items among all the possible items from the shop

a TON of new weapons added to the game, lots of great rebalancing work from the devs, pre-patch of destiny revert: I feel as though a weekly free heirloom exchange would be a great chance for people to try out new classes that have been rebalanced or run from their class if they please

Maybe gold should be made irrelevant? This would help with that.
-
Well the more plentiful and the more convenient looms & exchanges etc become, the less value there will be to a loom. Not against the change, but with changes like this it will only remove the charm of an important loom, and replace it with the annoyance of having to wait to get rid of whatever flavor of the week youve got. It moves on to a point where theres little reason to keep the looms at all because they will seem like a bother more than a sort of gameplay choice. But i guess its arguable that there are so many looms already that we're past that point.
-
I kinda feel like clan armouries are a thing for this purpose. And that's coming from an armouryless guy.

Yes. We can't pretend like CRPG is going to be booming like it was in it's prime, I doubt it ever will be again. Which means the market and trade is not going to be what it once was either. With all these new items and balances etc, many of us are stuck with older heirlooms. I know myself I don't want to be doing all that endless retiring shit again for more loompoints, reforging loses you points so it's not really worth it unless you're getting free loom points to substitute that. Let us spend gold once a week to exchange a +3 for 3 loom points, so we can put them to better use.

What Lee Sin said. Finally a useful idea from Pancake.

Professor, will you have a loot at it please?

Professor, will you have a loot at it please?
He told me on Discord that he'll loot your looms & loom points in exchange for this feature.
-
the majority has spoken, please professor...
-
This isn't actually a bad idea from that peasant in denial Panos; with one alteration. Make it so that every time you exchange an item it costs perhaps 300,000-500,000? That'll significantly reduce the amount of gold floating about right now, and make it so people actually put thought into doing this.
-
73% voted yes, please implement this as repeatedly retiring for loom points or trying to find a decent trade that isn't like being fucked in the arse by a pack of jews, is not something i want to do in 2018 just so I can try other +3's, like all the new items we have.
-
the majority has spoken, please professor...
They will also all vote yes if you ask "give a random +3 items too all players every week" and they will for obvious reason not implement it.
But I think the idea is fine indeed, I'd lenghten the time range to 2 weeks aprox tho so 1:1 deals will still be viable and happening.

If a heirloom exchange option is added I do not think it will be free. More likely it would be added for a reasonable amount of gold at minimum in the hundreds of thousands.

I think 100k for a heirloom exchange is more than enough.
-
I think closer to 400k to ensure there is still incentive to use the market/trade
-
Who gives a fk about market in 2018, the only people using it are the jews that ruined it before. A price tag is fine if its within reason, if it's too expensive then it's not worth using and we wont see new +3s entering the market.
-
Yeah, because the market is sooooo great, really.
Full with spastic cunts that try to make a fool of you and take your shit cheap, and sell high.
-
Why are you trying to artificially make something like the market important? The mod is nearly dead, it hardly seems purposeful to torture the remaining playerbase with unnecessary shit like that. It was a fun idea back when the mod was thriving and growing, now it's not.
-
There are over 550 different offers up on the marketplace. I've traded a bunch of +3's/+1's over the last few weeks for others that I wanted and have even made some profit in gold on them as well. Just because you are not using the market does not mean its inactive.
We are not removing incentive to trade by making exchanges available for free. Simply will not happen. Adding the option to the website to buy an exchange for a set free is something that is being considered and is much more likely.
-
Yeah, I agreed with a fee, for the sake of a gold sink and not making the market completely obsolete, but if the fee is anywhere near the inflated jewish prices of the market, it would be pointless still. If we also pick up any newer players, who will have to retire to make a MW, it will give them a chance to change their first MW's without being completely ripped off.
Btw those "550" offers on the market place consist of a bunch of bullshit offers too, which is one of the reasons why the market is and always has been cancer. 19 offers of Gold for 1 heirloom point by the same guy, all offers are massively bad deals. How many of those 550 trade offers are actually reasonable and don't involve being ripped off?. Most people I see using the market are arranging their reasonable trades in game, then putting the offers up. Other people are still just trying to make more gold out of it, inflating prices even more, that isn't healthy in a mod that is basically "undead" at this point.
And well, it's 2018, who the fuck wants to retire repeatedly for heirloom points or to spend weeks trying to find a reasonable trade that doesn't involve being ripped off, just because they want to try one of the newer items. Also, this is a way to encourage the newer items working their way into the marketplace, if you're that bothered about the marketplace.

Trying to trade my armours, and Ill I see are offers from greedy cunts who try to scam me.
