Title: Why you need to come back to c-rpg, like me.
Post by: Panos_Tournament on November 10, 2017, 09:31:31 am
1. It is still one of the hardest mods/games out there, I played some OKAM yesterday and I quit after 10 minutes because it was shit.

2. New small dev team that actually gives a fuck and listens to the crowd, new patch comes out in 15 hours.

3. Is there a better fighting simulation game?

4. Because you have invested a lot of time and effort in this game.

5. To honour chadz and cmp fuck that guy

6. Because I downloaded warband again, and I have some unfinished bussiness with some punk ass Turks.

7. There is no 7.

8. Write your own reason why someone needs to come back to c-rpg.

Simply curious, are some people playing again, yet aren't displayed by the counter on the website ?

Website shows the right number but is a bit delayed. Haven't been on since the patch but yesterday had 12 or 13 on eu 1 and last time we played na 1 had it over 20. Basically just gotta grab some mates and hop on when you want to get it going. Discord is good for letting people know when you are getting on. In na we also use a steamgroup.

I miss Warband maps and the way players interacted on them while playing cRPG battle.

I'd really love to play again, for nostalgic purposes mainly. But (everything written before but is shit anyway) there are multiple roadblocks of which none can be lifted atm. If I were to play 3d intensive game on my PC that would definitely be cRPG at this moment but lack of required hardware and software environment combined with serious lack of time to allocate to gaming makes this an impossible task.

EU has been gaining some pop lately and I'll be sending out announcements if I ever get the game started (Not a lot of time on my hands at the moment as retail + christmas season + regional director coming to my store = work work work) I mostly have a couple evenings and then I just can't really be fucked to do anything but play a couple games and relax.

Only reason I've come back to C-RPG is because I've not played enough of it. As to what happens reset wise or whatever I don't really give a damn, though, I do think all options should always be up for consideration, if it will genuinely bring back people to C-RPG and not lose us more then I don't see anything bad with doing it. (Could even look at potentially doing something like what Runescape did, have a legacy game for old players to jump back onto (One with all our looms and shit) and one without that has been reset) - Though, C-RPG would probably need a lot more traction if that were to happen.
