Title: Losing connection to server every two minutes or less

I just reinstalled the game and mod and am using the same CD key I've always used because I only have just the one.  I get disconnected very shortly after connecting to a server.

how to fix

Ugh, it's just my shitty ping spiking to 3000. GO HOME.
