Title: What is discord for?

Lot's of information and new announcements being shared on discord, to the point it seems to be the preferred method for some.  That's cool, and maybe I'm just an old man now, but then what is the forum for?

They are both for the same thing it just seems that discord has better functionality for mobile and is an other way to reach more players.

it´s faster, but also less filtered -> lots of spam

it simply depends on how you want your information: fast and a lot of low info messages or slow but more useful messages on forum

I literally have no access to the any forum admin stuff (Posting in announcements, pinning page, etc.) so I post everything in discord instead where I have those powers. It is also the fastest way to get in contact with me or dupre or any of the admins. Once I get privileges on the forums I would post more but my guess is you would also find the same information on the discord.
